anyone get a weird game/computer after doing update?

i did the update then i get a black screen with only option to go to start menu(8.1) and restart the computer as everything was opening behind the game window, but i couldnt force close it then after the restart i load the game and took a lot long to load and i was put in windows mode which kept getting the 'not responding', but when i eventually got the game to work i played couple minutes then my whole computer restarted??

seems to be working after that restart if still a little slow and managed 3 gang fights before i left the game, though i think something from the update is making it alittle rough that prior.

this is my usage and what a usage lol, dont know how my gtx 560 was coping if this is what my 270x gets.

I don't think so as you can go back to pick up the intel you've missed later on if you like (which you'll probably want to do eventually). There are also minor exp bonuses for intel-gathering and such but they're just that - minor.

meh, game patch is ****

Most of the evening/night in the dark zone, various levels but mostly DZ 5 and 6 and not a single yellow drop and what's even worse, getting more blues in there than ever... and for some bosses, not a single drop now.....

They need to increase the rate for yellow drops, it is just ridiculous now and tbh getting fed up with the "grind", only reason to play in the dz is to get to 50 so you can buy the blueprints for stuff.

Barely seen anyone else in the dark zone too.

Was considering that myself but the first paid DLC is so far off that there's no immediate benefit to buying now, apart from a couple of outfits and one weapon.

Though I have to admit, a part of me just wants to grab it and be done with it since I've really enjoyed my last time with the game and can see myself playing it for a lot longer than I initially thought. I've already found some nice deals on the SP and can't imagine it getting much cheaper so I might pull the trigger.

The grind is real now. Only yellow I got this evening was a mag I crafted. I need a metric **** load of phoenix credits to buy many more blueprints. Darkzone was practically deserted on our server.
 
Quite disppointed in DZ tonight, was hoping to see lots of scrubs to kill with the new patch, never saw a dickie bird. Did craft a face melting Vector with 39 rounds in the mag and 970rpm with insane DPS. :)

Got to rank 40 which is nice, need so many pheonix credits now, its no good farming mobs for 1 or 2 pheonix credits a time.

Something isnt right because for the first time ever in 4 years I got a PCU Over heating warning tonight after this update ! WTF ........
 
Me and a friend had a damn hard time in the dark zone tonight due to the new patch. Encounter quite a few double and quad Rogue agent groups that proved a serious issue. Our gear isn't good enough to extract items in anything higher than dz03 so we got owned :(
 
I went into the DZ straight after the first version of the new patch was installed. I wanted to see how the changes affected the DZ, particularly solo play.

I was only in DZ 1 and DZ 2, and it was very quiet in both areas. There were a few other solo players and two teams that I saw. I was killed twice by a rogue, went back in to hunt them down but ran out of time each time. However there was not the free-for-all PvP that I've seen reported elsewhere. I didn't even realise that experience wasn't being lost/gained for going/killing rogues.

There will still plenty of PvE encounters, and a strange thing I hadn't noticed before was Cleaners vs Rioters. Three times I came upon shootouts between rival gangs, and watched as they took care of each other and then I picked off who was left.

I eventually joined a team of 2 and we managed to extract some nice loot (for that level). I still have the feeling that the DZ will be a more dangerous place for the solo player with these changes (once they get them to work).

There was a 12 minute countdown to the server shutting down so I was able to get out and set up for today's play back in the BoO.

Challenge modes are probably the best resource to farm Phoenix creds. It is what I did before Bullet King made his grand appearance. Also now there is a chance for bosses to drop high end gear there is more incentive to do it for weapons, gears and skins.

This is what a mate got today and all power level 31.

Lexington seems to be the popular choice and can be completed in around 8-10mins with a good team.
