there is only £15 is the cost so when it comes down to it what as the better GPU power?

also do we have all 100% dates on the new cards that are coming? because i am getting to braking point now, i need a GPU...

I don't know how much more clear it could be?

The nano is in the range of about 10-30% faster depending on the resolution. Generally the higher the resolution the more it pulls ahead.

I think he was just taking the **** out of the poor grammar.

But yeah, you would be better off with the Nano.

I'd still wait another week - nvidia's conference is the first week in April

I wouldn't get either at this point, a 970 with a bunch of free stuff works out £200-220 and should tide you over the next few months if nothing is announced next week

I'm almost at braking point too.

I second waiting for the detail that comes out of the conference before getting anything. I'd go for the Nano too, better bank for buck.

Get the Nano. Fantastic card, and is better today with Crimson drivers.
Under the HSF is a FuryX. Put the power to +50% and overclock it with the Overdrive. Don't use MSI AB

Nano hands down. Not even a choice and on water you can get Fury X + fps!

True. I have mine with EK prefilled waterblock attached to a Predator 360.
Runs perfectly at 1140/545, chewing and spitting everything out. (supporting Async compute also, contrary to NV).

I will change it only when the AMD Vega is out.

I know it's hard to wait. I want to upgrade my 970 too, but I'm holding out the best I can. I refuse to buy a gpu that's near eol.

Whilst the Nano has the edge on performance I understand that you're pretty much guaranteed some degree of coil whine with it. Not sure if that would be an issue for you.

So everyone say get nano but everyone also say wait...
At this point in time i have NO GPU, so waiting will be harder for me than most others.
Gpu will be going into a water cooled ITX build that will be on my 4k TV, the TV is happy at 1440.

I say ITX build but the case will take a full size GPU.

If you must buy a GPU now, then the Nano is the clear winner especially considering you have an itx build because the nano is smaller and more powerful.

i have seen that a lot of nano's will unlock shades. is there any one perticular that as more chance over the others of been unlocked

If you are going such small form factor and water cooling plus high res then the nano is a no brainer for me. I'd only get the 980 if it was a lot cheaper than nano, which it isn't.
