Pictures not great but woke up, went to Tesco's and found that my car has been keyed across 5 panels. Really gutted, not sure if it was done on the drive or at Tesco's but my previous cars (all kinda crap, a 106, an s reg micra and a mk6 golf) were all keyed when parked on my road/drive so suggests someone local.

I have "smart insurance" on it but there are so many exclusions - made a claim anyway and fingers crossed.

:(

People have no respect for other people's property  This sort of thing really gets me cross.

Though that said it does look rather deliberate, have you annoyed anyone recently?

I would rather they steal and wreck the car rather than this petty ****.
Mine got done a few months ago.
Also was visiting my dad at north staffs hospital and Someone had caught my front wheel arch, no note was left which was nice of them. Luckily some of it polished out.,

If it's happening often as this then might be worth investing in some cctv covering the car.

Someone kept keying my dad's car, so I installed CCTV at his house overlooking the front / drive. The cameras weren't massively visible but did have a ring of IR LEDs around them that gave off a soft glow. After the cameras went up, his car wasn't keyed again.

This sort of thing ****es me off so much. How can some get a buzz out of keying cars? Its just mindless.

Could some of the damage be wet sanded and polished or is it too deep for that?

Feel the hurt, I swear if I ever caught somebody doing this I'd flip my rag.

I had my car keyed years ago, happened on a bright sunny Saturday afternoon between 11 and 12, just some scumbag walking along I suppose.

Saw an Evoque today which looked quite nice, parked next to me and my son made the comment that some scumbag had keyed it from front to back.
