Hi guys Im looking to get some vinyl for the bonnet of my corsa c. It's a silver car and Im not sure on what colour would look nice and also where should I buy it from. I want to do it myself. The edges are getting little rusty as previous owner didn't look do them when they should be done. You might ask why not to re paint simply budget wont allow it.

Also any tips what could i do to make corsa look nice? It's my first car that I purchased and recently I saved up to make my little bee look good :D

And to those saying don't waste money, its the guy's first car. He's talking about a hundred notes or so, not a redtop conversion. If the guy want to spend a bit of dosh on his first ride, why not? Enjoy it and screw what everyone else says :)

You could colour code the arches, update the wheels (esp if the tyres are due) and lower it a tad.

Less is more.

If you paint the bonnet black it will look ****e.

I did not intend for it come across that way and I apologize.

Ah no, I didn't mean it like that at all, miscommunication :)

Was just pointing out that it's his first car, we've all been there and wanted to customize it a bit. Good on ya OP, and congrats on the car!

Trouble is with a wrap any imperfections in the paint will show through. Also if you do it yourself you will need a dust free place to do it and allot of patience.

Rub down the rusty/bubbling patches - spend a bit of time wet sanding and using a proper touch up kit, then get it as good as you can and give up

Silver cars always look terrible when painted unfortunately, but you can potentially make it look acceptable.

Or leave it well alone

Wrapping will show up all imperfections as mentioned above, so is a bit of a waste of time onna car with rust unless you prep first

Do not wrap imperfect paint, it stands out a mile, it needs rubbing down and treating before wrapping.

Also work out how long you will be keeping the car before spending money on it, if you're planning on changing in a few months don't bother but if it's going to be a couple of years then tidy it up no worries.
