Hoping someone can help identify the part name as I lost the cap/cover and need to order a replacement:

Pop to the dealer and ask for part number 34111154979. They were only a pound each or so when I got some last year.

On BMW, yes as the handbrake mechanism doesn't act on the caliper

So long as you're only doing the pads there's no real difference, if you want the disc off though you'll probably need to release the shoes a click or two to get it off, and or give them a tap
