AMD Brings the ASSASSIN’S CREED movie VR Experience to Life with the AMD Radeon™ Pro Duo GPU and AMD

We don't take kindly to VR talk in these parts. Could you not have posted this in the VR forum instead?

You opinion VR might suck to you.. VR doesn't suck till I have tested it.

I get it VR isn't for you then why even enter this thread? just jog on and leave it for people interested.

I think you'll find a better discussion about VR if you post in the VR forum.

That's why there *is* a VR section. If you want to discuss VR, why *wouldn't* you post in the VR forum?

Why?

e: You know there's a VR forum because you've been posting in there. Please keep VR stuff in there, OK?

I not once posted in the VR section only here in VR threads. edit - Them three threads was once in this section, and them three threads do belong in the VR section they not about GPUs in particular this thread is.

This thread isn't just about VR it's also about LiquidVR and Radeon Pro Duo what is a GPU.

@Gerard lol :D

I assumed the VR section was more for talking about specific VR hardware, excluding the GPU's required to run it. The article Shankly has linked to whilst thin on details, talks more about the GPU's required to provide the VR experience.

This forum's a breeding ground for people waiting to bait each other though so I guess we are going to see a lot of these kind of threads in the coming months :D

There are topics on graphic forum that link to articles about Nvidia's and AMD's financial earnings and market-shares that don't touches on the subject of GPUs or graphic card at all, and when I brought up that "why is this on the graphic forum?", people were going on about with speculations of how with the extra money Nvidia can do this and that for the GPUs (despite there's no evidence or suggestion on how Nvidia will actually spend their money).

If topics like that has no problem existing on the graphic forum, then why is it a problem to put an article in the graphic forum that actually did talked about aspect of GPUs/graphic card?

AMD said the Radeon Pro Duo was being targetted towards VR content creation - this looks like the first commercial use of it!!

The people who have a problem can't accept that AMD may be gaining ground in VR.

It's good news that AMD is making a name for itself in VR. Not sure what this AC VR Experience is supposed to be though. Is it a full VR game or just some promotional demo to coincide with the movie release?

Rubbish. Why does everything have to come down to vendor bias (and accusations thereof). There's a VR subforum. It was created because the GFX forum was becoming overwhelmed by VR topics.

Some of us don't care for VR.

But if mods aren't going to move topics to appropriate places, then it's pointless having these subforums.

This thread is about vr and the pro duo graphics card.

why are you acting so but hurt that it's in this forum?

There are plenty of topics in various forums that arguably could be in more than one forum. There's no need to move this topic.

And yet you guys created a VR forum and at that point moved ALL VR topics to it.

A little consistency would be nice. Is that too much to ask?

Or are you now going with the angle that VR apps running on GFX cards can be in either forum, or both?

<- Dared to question Nvidia's financial earning and market-share article topics is may be better placed at General Discussion or Speaker's corner forum, and got Zergling rushed :p

you dont get someone has big has 20th Century Fox onboard if your tech is meaningless :D
Yeah you do - Happens ALL the time.
Case in point - Avatar. Big name actors and studios and directors and everything, über-über-latest fancy bleeding edge 3D technology and graphics stuff, all singing and dancing and even makes the tea...... and yet, despite all this, they fail to follow the most basic, fundamental rules of making a 3D film, which the industry has known about since the early 1950s.

All that tech, pointlessly wasted and meaningless.
