Should've had the two idiots put down with the dog. In all seriousness the sentences should've been tougher, i think a petition calling for tougher sentencing for anyone convicted under the Animal Welfare Act would have been better.

The judge could have given them both up-to 51 week jail terms, should be able to give them up to 3 years imo.

A person guilty of any other offence under this Act shall be liable on summary conviction to—

(a)imprisonment for a term not exceeding 51 weeks, or

(b)a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale,

Petitions like this rarely have the intended effect, but signed anyway.

Horrifying seeing that video. Poor dog is so submissive; it just doesn't know what to do.

Here's hoping that the explosion in awareness sees someone take this scrote for his own evening of hilarity up and down a flight of stairs. Stone ones, preferably.

There is absolutely no way these creatures should have any kind of police protection.

I wouldn't lose any sleep if they were maimed and left in wheelchairs, or worse. That society has any empathy for these vile thugs is disturbing to me.

Society has not failed them. They are monsters, plain and simple. Stone them, put them out of their misery.
 
These scrotes are fairly local to me so my facebook is full of rumours. Apparently they have been moved from the address following an incident and are now under police protection at an unknown address.

I couldn't watch the video reading the article in the local news was too much for me.

I think time locked in a secure mental hospital would be appropriate. Not so much for cruelty to animals but because they enjoyed it. They're dangerously wrong in the head.
 
Also we tend to kill cattle humanely and near instantly.

I don't know any farmer that throws his cattle down the stairs, stomps on their heads, etc, as part of the slaughter process. But then I'm not a farmer, so maybe someone else can confirm this isn't how it's done?

Maybe in Scotland they headbutt cows to death, but I'm talking the civilised parts of the UK here...

Clearly never seen any of the peta/greenpeace/insert other animal group, videos of numerous farm workers torturing and mistreating animals.
 
Nope. Not the kind of thing I go looking for. I will assume that it's not the norm, and I very much hope that's true.
 
Seen this earlier on the daily mail site and signed , glad to see the petition posted on here **** like this makes my blood boil .utter scum those involved in this cruelty.
 
OMG i just watched the first video, how could they do that to this poor dog, makes me so sad :( and to think the only thing the dog wanted was to make his owner happy :(

Signed. I doubt it'll do any good, but it'll at least raise awareness of a case and hopefully bring them some shame when their friends and family see it plastered all over the internet.

I agree, definitely usually what happens. Reading this has made me feel ill, look at the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs, they started out killing animals then look what they done after...
I can not watch the video. I have seen plenty of dodgy videos online depicting evil acts of human behaviour but nothing touches or affects my soul more than an animal being hurt. :mad:

Sickening video, poor dog. Mob mentality is also pretty grim. Imagine bringing kids like that into the world, parents worst nightmare.
