I wear something similar to get to and from the office, as well as lunch. Mines grey/black though. I don't wear it around the office though.

It's waterproof and I often walk to work.

Yeah, I wouldn't be wearing it around the office. Perhaps I could go for a darker navy variant

Well is still is a professional environment (client site) at the end of the day. I certainly don't want to stick out like a sore thumb

Yes, of course it's acceptable. It's not as though you're going to be sitting at your desk wearing it. Seriously, you can wear whatever you want, it's just a coat!

I've never worked in an office environment where within reason what someone wore for a coat was an issue - even in places where the dress code while actually at work was quite rigorous.
