Hi,

I'm really struggling to decide on a screen I've been going around in circles for months :o

There are no TN SW panels, theres no way I'm risking IPS so it seems I'm limited to VA which seems limited to 2560x1080

I've been looking at the 35" 2560x1080 VA panels, the response time is high compared to TN, if I play mostly online FPS am I going to notice? Also is 35" way too big for that res? I'm not fussed on what the desktop looks like as its a gaming PC and I suppose the bonus is I dont need to spend a fortune on GPU's to power it and high refresh rate is a must for me plus I want FreeSync

Here are the two I'm looking at -

Ive been asking the same question and the answer from people are colour shift will be an issue. However i still believe that this is where curved could be a really good help. That said i no nothing of if this is even possible to make with TN and its purely me speculating.

No matter what the marketing says, VA is an evolution of TN.
The response time is what it is as it's a lot of pixels to drive through and I doubt it's worse that TN "1ms" (not really 1ms black to white)
