isnt there a bug with one of the talents, i was watching a video on solo DZ builds and the guy equipped certain talents/skills and he was pretty much stood getting hosed by several others and he was self healing enough not to die quickly.

How did you get your EMP so OP, surely it doesn't do any damage to take down 3/4 other players on your own? Interested to know how it works for you...

No, it doesn't do any damage, or at least it shouldn't, but I've got some perks on my weapons and gear with some high percentages towards sticky bombs that seem to be doing something. I've found a lot of ppl do not run with blind/deaf resistances, or certainly very high ones, and my sticky flash seems to totally incapacitate everyone. Plus I have the skill talent which has the 30% chance of increasing it's range an extra 10m. It seems pretty devastating at immobilising players. And the other weird thing is, if I detonate it close to vehicles, it causes all sorts of mental car explosions lol. Should not be doing that surely haha. Something is definitely weird, but I'll take it

Ty didn't get it so will venture back there to pick it up :)

Seems I missed this one yesterday with my level 20 character, so just went back(now lvl24) and had to redo the mission, as there is no other way back in.
And no, I did'nt get the sniper, I got a handgun.

Been playing this a lot the past few days.

LVL 24 at the moment, any tips on what to buy or build while levelling up or does it not matter one jot?

Also how is end game and what does it consist of?

I have read that deconstructing all the loot you find up to level 30 is best practice as it really helps when it comes to crafting higher end gear from the blueprints you get when you hit that level. You can turn green gear parts into blue, then blue to yellow for example.

Obviously if you find something worth while keeping up till then, keep it ie armour/weapons etc.

I made that mistake, I was selling everything I got and then when I got blueprints, I had nothing to craft with.

In terms of end game, once you have finished all the main story missions there are still the encounters/side missions etc to do and then replaying the main missions on Hard/Challenging. Challenging is legit hard for a fresh lvl30 but its an epic challenge.

Then the DZ - for the proper high end blueprints it requires a lvl50 DZ so a lot of this is a grind to get there but tbh its a fun grind regardless if you do it solo and do it PVE, or PVP and go rogue.

The last few nights I have gone up 10 ranks in the DZ just by chasing the DZ bosses and killing AI throughout the map starting at DZ01 and working north to DZ06. Its getting more fun each night.

Aside from the current game types, there is the new content coming which sounds fantastic and will bring another element of difficulty to the game for the AI perspective.

All in all, at a fresh lvl30 I was feeling a bit lost, wasn't enjoying the DZ as I was getting pwned, wasn't enjoying challenging mode as I was getting pwned but now that I have got decent gear (bear in mind I was fresh 30 only a week ago and I was getting one shotted too easily) all of these things are very fun now and I can forsee me putting many many more hours into it.

fyi - DZ teams are more fun :) Whats your in game name?

EDIT:
Tonights plan is to balance out my DPS and Health. My two main guns are the black market ak74 and the vector. AK74 has a dmg of 12.5k, and the vector has a hit rate of 11.1k which is due to the mods on the weapons and a lucky roll so that element is fine for the time being.

I am thinking I could life the health by 10k solely by using high end stamina mods and replacing the firearms current there which would be ideal as the gear I have at the moment, has good stats and I don't want to waste PC on rerolling yellows. Pah, this part of the game is just as fun for me lol

Right...enough, I need to work. Will be on later :)

Pretty much what Gamble says.

Get into the DZ, collect and extract everything you can. Deconstruct all the crap. If you don't get anything decent and you need to get a better weapon/armour, check your blueprints and the vendors. I do a quick tour of the vendors and if there is anything worth buying, I sell what I don't need and get it, mainly superior smg/sniper rifles.
And check your map regularly for any gear crates/locked doors you may have missed.
I have 4 characters, so can pass down my best gear.

Well after starting playing last weekend, and getting unexpectedly hooked to this, I'm not level 20. Which I don't think is too bad for a week's work.

Haven't ventured into the dz yet, enjoying the solo experience and missions at the moment. I've deconstructed virtually everything I find, and crafted a handful of things to make my setup better. I'm no where near the dps or health you guys talk about on here yet, but that'll come after lvl30 i guess!

Would be good to have a few of you added tho.. shouldn't take me long to get to lvl30 now and then I can step up :)

Jesus this time of morning seems to destroy MM, Can't believe Rus Cos just took a hour and I joined a party that had already started. Can see why the guy who was with them left dear god.

Thanks for the info, I have been half selling and half deconstructing stuff so I'll start deconstructing it all.

In game/uplay name is V4NT0M, I usually play with stark but getting into some dark zone groups would be good.

What's the best way of farming Pheonix credits solo?

Life is crazy at the moment and my gaming time is random and can at any moment be interrupted so teaming up can be problematic for me :(

Ha, no idea how that happened, I only typed and posted the once...

Ive had it a lot on my phone happening where it double posts about 20 minutes later once i open my chrome again. Think it just goes to send the post message again and because it's not been in quick succession it lets the message go through.

Run Lincoln Tunnel on Challenging - takes 15-20 minutes in a semi decent group, less in a good group.
Run the Hard Dailies solo - but obviously you can only run 2 of those a day.
That's about the only way you're going to get Phoenix Creds in short time frames - if you don't have at least 20 minutes to play there's no way of getting Phoenix tbh. DZ bosses drop them 2-3 at a time so you could get 5-6 in a 20 minute period if you're lucky.

Would be cool to have a game with you and Stark again :)

If your rank and load out is at the level where you can take on level 30 elites OK then I would suggest the daily missions on Hard.

That will give you 15 PC for the daily, and around 3-5 for killing the end boss so 36 PC per day roughly just for the hards solo

In addition to that, Lexington on challenging is a good way also - 30 PC plus a few extra at the end for the boss and if you get a decent team, shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to run through start to finish :)

So for those three you would be looking at 60-70PC for less than an hour of gameplay, which is what I plan to do tonight for a few hours :)

Have you ever played with Nexus? Is that the same one he uses where he has the rehabalitation talent on his mask? He blinds himself with a flashbang then he's constantly topping up health. Mind you, it goes up very slow, like 2% or something, but is always charging constantly topping up. This guy wasn't, he was getting blasted by most of us, his health was clearly depleting all the way to the bottom but at the same point each time it was topping back up to 100% in a split second. It wasn't increasing slowly like Nexus's glitch, it was topping up quickly in one burst. You can't use first aid packs that quickly due to recharge, and also there's no way you can keep using a first aid talent every 5-10 seconds over the course of like a 3 minute fight.

Yup the glitch my mask has is absolute crap for anything other than level 30/31 NPCs

do the two daily hard missions.
15 phoenix credits each. That's 30 credits a day for very little work and hard missions scale down for 1 person so are dead easy. Get lots of high end gear and it becomes a speed run.

Run Lincoln Tunnel on Challenging - takes 15-20 minutes in a semi decent group, less in a good group.
.

Challenge mode you will need to team up however. And be prepared for your match made team mates to be **** and have to carry them through. Quite often they aren't prepared and just quit leaving you on your own and having to start the whole thing again.
