Erik Bauersfeld, the voice of Admiral Ackbar, passed away on Sunday at aged 93.

Now, I know typical RIP threads are usually for some sort of world reknowned celebrity and I wonder how many people knew Eriks name, but he spawned such a popular meme, especially within a group of computer nerds such as us , that I thought a mention of his passing was worthy.
