Who Negan killed in the season finale?

Carl because he has a thing with Negan.
Maggie because we will find out what is wrong with her.
I will assume Rick survives.

Pretty much a given Rick survives aside from everything else Negan was all about teaching him a lesson which he can't really do if he kills Rick.

The others you mentioned, assuming they don't contrive it, are pretty much ruled out by what he says in the final minute or so along with most of the women.

If it is Glenn they really should have shown it and got it over and done with - would be incredibly weak to drag that out at this point in the show and completely finish the show for me - with all the monkeying around the writers have done at this point I don't actually care if they killed the whole lot of them which isn't a good place for a show to go.

Neither Rick or Carl could've been killed based on what Negan said - "..cut out his other eye and feed it to his father". That implies that the person he's about to kill is neither of those two.

I know it's the easy option, but I really do think they've gone with the comics and killed Glenn. Based on what they said during Talking Dead, the death sets up the story arc for the next season and that makes perfect sense based on Maggie's story arc in the comics - moving to Hilltop and leading that group in a joint attack on The Saviors.

It could be Daryl, but there's unfinished business between him and Dwight. I'd be surprised if the writers didn't want to explore that further.

It could be Abraham. His story arc was wrapped up quite neatly in this episode - accepting Eugene, talking about having a kid with Sasha - but I think it would be felt as a bit of a cop-out by the fans as he's not the main character that, say, Glenn, Daryl, Rick and Michonne are.
Having said that, I think he's ripe for killing off unless they give him more to do in the next season.

Comic spoilers in there. Might want to add a warning.

I was also expecting them to have weapons under Maggie on the stretcher, wouldn't have gotten very far though with all those surrounding. We can speculate all day as to who it was, but if the writers don't even know, then we will just have to wait and see.

the main problem with the ending is that the impact of it will be so watered down after the inevitable leaks over the summer, we are sure to know who got Lucille'd long before Season 7 starts.

I would far rather we had 2 char deaths in the finale, one early on and one at the end by Negan. For me that would have left the season with a real sense of fear for Season 7 rather than potentially the first few episodes of Season 7 being wasted on the death and its aftermath

Ah right, they said something about him and a library on the Talking Dead, thought I'd missed something. Ta. :)

If that slowed down clip is anything to go by, we already know who it is :D :p

Did I miss something? Why is everyone trying to work out who survives? As far as I had gathered he literally told everyone he wasn't going to kill anyone, just beat "the holy hell" out of one of them.

LOL

If whoever he's hitting survives that then the show is over for me, 10 or whatever heavy blows to the head and the same sound effects they use when they cave the walkers skulls in.

Did you hear the noise made from those hits? If whoever it was doesn't have a head like pulp after that, then that's some poor swinging :p

They might be strong, but no one would survive that.

Aint nobody surviving that beating.

Agreed. However, we don't see anyone die and we only know that a couple of the hits are on the noggin. We can interpret the sounds, but again, we can't be sure. They've got the opportunity to drag out a main character's survival on the brink for a good few episodes of S7.

That was from the Flash who was being beaten nearly to death by Zoom :-)
Andi.
