The Division. Are we interested?

To be honest i think they have pushed the game further in the wrong direction. Just because some children are complaining that it's hard to get div tech and phoenix credits they have made to miles to easy and has for me made the game entirely ******* pointless to play because anyone will be able to top tier so fast.

I don't think you've played the game or read the forums to see what people are complaining about. Your post literally makes zero sense to me. The crafting changes make it siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiignificantly harder to craft high ends - have you seen the conversion rates? Yes, they've dropped the Div Tech requirement for some blueprints - but I don't think they've told us which blueprints or how many of them, I might be wrong on that one. Other than that, they've not changed how broken acquiring div tech is.

I don't think I've seen anyone complain about Phoenix credits being too hard to attain - if anything I think they're probably a little too easy (farming Challenge mode). However, they do need to adjust the drop rate in DZ to make it a viable alternative to Challenge mode - which they're doing.

I got 300 and something last night by doing the daily challenges, going after bosses in the DZ, as well as doing some extra challenging missions.

So PC = no problem at all. You can get 80 a day just with the daily challenges which will get you a few bits of kit.

Maybe they need to slow it down a little, the game has only been out for a few weeks after all? I mean if they make it too easy then content will get burned through too quickly perhaps?

That is a good point but its a fine line.

Some people have already hit max rank caps in DZ, so by doing this they are making it harder to get the best gear so people don't get bored...but the question is, will they go too far and make it so hard, and so much of a grind that people get bored anyway?

Precisely. I think they need to tone down the farmability of PC from Challenge mode, and increase the drops in DZ. I can guarantee of the 300 you got last night, you got no more than 40-50 in DZ (and that's assuming you spent hooooooooooooours in there). You can easily make 150-180 PC an hour running Lincoln Tunnel :/

Agreed. I think people need to give it more than a couple weeks before the devs get a balance maybe?

Although look at how long something diablo 3 has been out, people still moan about drop rates, rolls and balance. But you'll never please everyone all the time. Especially the hardcore that have hours a day to burn through to the "end game".

There are very few legit max dz rank players.

I even caught that Youtuber - MarcoStyle out of the Map in the DZ doing the DZ level exploit. Then there was the Hornett, Bullet King exploit that left people with more crafting material than they will ever need.

So whilst normal players are around DZ rank 50'sh there are those who are 99 already and will be able to buy rank 75 and 90 blueprints whenever the new changes are out leaving everyone else playing catchup and being less geared than them.

Exploits have kind of ruined this game.Where normally only enthusiasts and those dedicated should be higher in rank and have indisposable resources infact it is people who have used exploits because ME didn't fix it fast enough.

Some better news on the next patch to increase yellow drops (100%) and Div tech....

To sum up the list of changes brought with update 1.1 in regards to item drops and crafting, we will:

Increase drop rates of High-End items on named NPCs (100% drop rate, actually)
Increase drop rates of Division Tech, to make it less of a bottleneck than it currently is
Modify loot tables for each named NPC, to make the hunt for loot more controlled
Increase conversion costs of lower quality materials to high quality ones, making it harder to convert low quality materials into high quality ones
Decrease construction yields, making it less interesting to farm lower quality items in order to obtain crafting materials, and because you’ll get more High-End items as a whole
Increase cost of crafting High-End items, because High-End materials will be much easier to come by

These changes will not only make crafting and dropping more coherent towards each other, but will also make it feel much more fun and rewarding.

Gonna leave the game till the 12th and go back to it after a mini break, doubtful the above alone will pull me back in though.

EDIT: beaten to it.

Div tech is broken in that regards, so bring on the new 1.1 patch I say.

I heard, somewhere (literally can't recall where - probably here) that they'll get a 3 day ban for first offence and second offence is perma-ban.

Not sure if this is true as people have got multiple 3 day bans and still continue playing after each ban.

Note the word "they'll" in my post -- they will, future tense. And we're talking about the patch, and the patch hasn't dropped yet :p

Lol I was in for about three hours. Lincoln/lex would have got me more for sure.
