The Division. Are we interested?

I don't think you've played the game or read the forums to see what people are complaining about. Your post literally makes zero sense to me. The crafting changes make it siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiignificantly harder to craft high ends - have you seen the conversion rates? Yes, they've dropped the Div Tech requirement for some blueprints - but I don't think they've told us which blueprints or how many of them, I might be wrong on that one. Other than that, they've not changed how broken acquiring div tech is.

I don't think I've seen anyone complain about Phoenix credits being too hard to attain - if anything I think they're probably a little too easy (farming Challenge mode). However, they do need to adjust the drop rate in DZ to make it a viable alternative to Challenge mode - which they're doing.

I had not mentioned it being hard to get normal crafting materials that is also currently far to easy but yes they are making it a little bit harder. But removing div tech requirements from some mats and guaranteeing they drop rares makes it way to easy to acquire.

The simple fact they are removing the phoenix credit charge from vendors selling blueprints and the charge to upgrade your rares simply shows that people are complaining about it being to hard.

The fact that named bosses will 100% drop a rare now makes it again way to easy to farm gear and what should be taking a long time is now going to take no time at all.

Had two unique experiences earlier.

First one was in the Clinton district, on W 45th Street. NPC singing "Amazing Grace". I spot a group of cleaners and take them out while the NPC sings in the background, created quite the setting.

The second was the DZ - I spent an hour in DZ 1 and 2 and did not spot another player. First time this has ever happened. I was actually hoping for some help with extractions, as I scored my first purple drop- an SRS. Actually, in the first six items I picked up, I had three SRS marksman rifles (two green and a purple). I thought it must have been "give away your SRS day". Of course at one point I was killed and the three items that were dropped to the public were the SRS's, but with nobody around they were still there when I respawed. It took a while to clean the extraction zone enough to be able to get the loot out. Groups of six or seven bad guys are hard to clear solo to get a got shot at an extraction (at level 22 anyway).

I haven't used an SRS before sticking to the M1A for now. The purple SRS does 3k more damage than my SOCOM M1A, but has a much smaller magazine and lower ROF. I'll use it and see how I go, anyone consistently used an SRS?

Moments like these (the singing and first purple drop) that keep me coming back...

Cheers,

Seems the police academy farming is still working fine, at least until perhaps the new patch.

This works 100% of the time and makes farming mats far faster than being hunted in the DZ by those damn rouges. Did this method 5 times in a row this morning and it works great.

Roll through the door from this particular cover, kill the boss and repeat :)

Tried to go in the DZ on my tod just to see what it was like. Keep getting one shot by 30 rank npcs. :( Was hoping to find some houses to loot but could not. Found a few boxes in the streets but just materials or division somit or others. Hoped id find some weapons or somit that were blue or better. Ah well.

Eh.. again I disagree with this. Do you know how many high end's I've had (either drop or crafted) that I've immediately deconstructed? 99% of them are entirely useless, and that's without the new **** coming in. With these new sets coming in from Incursions, I dare say the HE drops from named bosses will be mostly on the lower end of the "good" equipment - what they've done is just move the goalposts a little bit. They've made what is currently good gear easier to attain, but added higher stat items to push down how relevant those HE drops will actually be.

Started seeing more blue drops on certain areas of the map, where the harder guys are actually which makes sense. Them areas for 14 ish area. Im level 15 now which even i cant do a few side missions up on the most difficult section of the map, top right i think. The sewer one as not much room to flee and take cover from as this yellow guy just wont die quick and he comes right at u very quick and wont let up. :(

Happy to see a few purples in the advanced tech section at the main base today. Not my kinda weapon tho unfortunately. Still, nice to see em come up now.

Was playing but was kicked due to a MIKE error, that damn mike... Tried restarting the game but no go. Must be server issues.

Were you in DZ 1? If so, you shouldn't be seeing Level 30 (I assume from your other post you are level 15?

Move down into DZ1 and it will be a lot easier, the enemies should scale with you. I've never seen level 30 enemies in the DZ (22 now and been going in since Level 8).

Cheers,

I did a quick run of all the safehouses each day to see what the vendors have. Don't forget to check your blueprints at the BoO, when finishing JTF missions. Every little helps.

I'm going to jump on later, pick up all the odd phone recordings and incident reports etc, want to get everything done before the new patch drops.

Think I have a few things to do in the top right area but everything else bar collections is done. Time for some free roam scavageing then.

Yeah i notice i get blueprint rewards not sure if they just come up when ur in the crafting screen or what tho to make em.

yeah they appear in the crafting vendor. new ones have ! on them like all new items. gives you an idea of possible rolls and compared to your equipped before you craft.

You guys are right, after looking at the shadowplay recording it was 91. not sure why i thought i was so high at the time haha.

It was strange last night, i got killed a few times by rogues and when i was dropping high ends they were leaving them and after getting revenge they were only carrying purples :/

It happened twice by 2 separate groups. hmmm

So just in case you guys have missed it, they have come out with more details about the 1.1 patch!

CONCLUSION

To sum up the list of changes brought with update 1.1 in regards to item drops and crafting, we will:

  • Increase drop rates of High-End items on named NPCs (100% drop rate, actually)

  • Increase drop rates of Division Tech, to make it less of a bottleneck than it currently is

  • Modify loot tables for each named NPC, to make the hunt for loot more controlled

  • Increase conversion costs of lower quality materials to high quality ones, making it harder to convert low quality materials into high quality ones

  • Decrease construction yields, making it less interesting to farm lower quality items in order to obtain crafting materials, and because you’ll get more High-End items as a whole

  • Increase cost of crafting High-End items, because High-End materials will be much easier to come by These changes will not only make crafting and dropping more coherent towards each other, but will also make it feel much more fun and rewarding.

Will we find out what each gear set gives for acquiring the full set before 1.1 drops?

Because all i know is they will give a talent of some sort, also after reading up you can't jump straight into challenge mode incursions straight away you have to complete hard mode first.

If hard drop gear sets also I'll just farm hard if it's more efficient.

I hope i aren't the only one that's a bit concerned about hackers in the DZ with these supply drops.

I don't think they will be releasing the details of the sets before launch, it'll be found out as we go along.

I guess it won't take long for everyone to figure out which boss has what loot table so the farming for the high end gear can begin!

I think more people are starting to try running challenge mode with incursions out next week.

Took me 4 attempts to get a group that could get through the carpark at powerplant then it took over a hour to actually clear the place.

Normally when I pug it's done within 20 mins.

I'm all for people wanting to try content but please be geared for it if your running with randomers, it's like D3 grifts all over again, fresh ding 70 in whites and yellows expecting to be pulled through grift 30+
