It's called pride in your country and how your country is perceived by the world at large. I wasn't present when two teenagers tortured and beat an alcoholic to death, then laughed about it. It didn't affect my life in any way, but nonetheless I hold a strong view of the appalling affair that occurred in my own country. The two are extremes, bints behaving badly, but at a very different level of debauchery, one almost comical, one nightmarish, I care about both, at different levels, and find both worthy of comment.

I've been out round Liverpool with friends who are at Uni there and I say you lie.
