EDIT: Corsair Link Software will control your CPU cooler.

Hello,

I have a Corsair H110i GT connected to my ASUS Pro Gaming Z170 in an NZXT S340.

I would like to control the radiator fans of my H110i from the ASUS software but not entirely sure if I can.

I am aware I can connect the radiator fans directly to the mobo fan headers but not sure if this will cause anything bad.

The pump has four connectors coming off from it. One SATA power, one CPU_FAN connector and two fans power connectors.

What are the disadvantages of remove the pump from the fans and connecting to the mobo? Is this a good idea or what alternatives are there.

Thank you.

I'm guessing that the pump speed and fan speed are directly controlled from one cpu fan header, the sata power delivering the required power to the fans?

You could disconnect the fans and have them on a splitter on another header if you wanted, but if it's working correctly I'm not sure why you'd want to do this, as the pump and fans should be controllable from the cpu fan header.

Thanks for your reply.. Found out Corsair Link is the software to control your Corsair rad fans!
