I had a feeling that after sadie got hurt that he would eventually have to reset and lose all the hard work he had put in, possible suceeding the mission and the world being messed up. Having to reset it would mean a 2nd season could be him trying a different route or something.

Didn't go that way, as I suppose it's just the Stephen King novel (he is a fantastic writer) but at the time I didn't know it was an adaptation.

I thought he should have least tried a 2nd time with Sadie, i mean, how do you know the guy who said he got stuck in a loop is telling the truth or even it's just him who got stuck in a loop, it might not happen for everyone.

I'd have tried a 2nd time, just to make sure.

I was expecting him to find out that she died when he did the google search. He'd have gone back in time then.

It kinda finished well, which doesn't bode well for a season 2 :(

Finished watching this last night, fantastic series, thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Just did some reading up on the whole JFK assassination as I only had surface level knowledge and I have to say the whole thing stinks of a cover up!

I've seen lots of documentaries on this subject and my absolute favourite is the one where Oswald shoots him but in the car behind, one of the Secret Service pick up a rifle and it accidentally goes off shooting JFK from lower down.
This also explains the magic bullet theory and explains the Secret Service very quickly covering it up.
Excellent theory and the one at the top of my list.

Only just watched the first episode (parts 1 & 2) and have to say it was excellent - gave it a miss before as it didn't sound like my kind of thing and previous Stephen King adaptions have been kind of meh - but really good start atleast definitely be watching a bit more of it.

Never really paid it any attention before but at face value does seem kind of strange - the position Oswald supposedly shot from is all wrong for anyone with reasonable military training especially with the position of the sun and no shortage of other better positions - but it could have been that for instance security coverage was too tight on other positions, inexperience/mistake, etc.

Loved this series couldn't really fault it. Did anyone else notice that when "The past pushed back" the colour red always seemed to be involved.

The red car nearly hitting them and the red door preventing access to where Oswald for example in the last episode.

Sadie though, oh god...absolutely gorgeous.

Was ill over last couple of weeks so binged watched lots of programs - gave this a go as I literally had nothing else to watch and I thought it was really good.

A few things I would have done differently but it begins and ends brilliantly and I really hope they don't do a second series as I think it should stand on it's own merits.

I wonder why he chose to ignore the large "Your the patsy" [sic] graffiti that was scrawled on the wall of the staircase in the book depository.

I wondered that but…

He very nearly did end up being the patsy. I’m glad they didn’t prolong the part he was arrested as well as the subsequent return/apocalyptic scenario as it didn’t need to be longer than it was.

Watched this over the last week or so. I really enjoyed it. I'm not convinced James Franco is suited to these serious roles but he just managed to pull it off.

I don't possibly see where they could go with a second series even though I would have liked more!

They really shouldn't go there. I think there is room for these types of mini-series.

Look at how popular Band of Brothers was and that was only 10 episodes, great character development etc. This wasn't at the same level but still really enjoyable and like that it could stand on it's own merits without having to have a second series commissioned.
