Echo the comments above. Paper DPS isn't everything. I used to run a Black market AK which did something like 170k damage according to the stats but it kicked like a mule and was very difficult to control. I picked up a Tactical ACR from a named boss and although on paper it does 30k damage less it's way more stable and easier to use. Because of this I'm 'on target' more so it's better.

Level 17 now, Lincoln tunnel on hard wrecks me. I can't protect the women nor survive myself! Given it's a level FIVE mission..

Shall I start looking for purple gear? I'm on blues and greens atm.

Spot on although my playtime is only 250 hours.

I am back to work for 19 days tomorrow but happy to help anyone when I am home at 10pm in the evening.

[Changelog] April 21 maintenance
Here is the list of changes implemented during the maintenance of April 21:

Falcon Lost
The APC will now only take damage from C4
Characters will now be killed when going inside the spawn closet


Gameplay
Weapon mods added automatically to a newly crafted weapon can now be deconstructed properly


UI
Fixed an issue where items from the Reward Claim Vendor would be granted abnormally
PC: Fixed an issue where using ASCII code in in-game chat could lead to client crash
 
Just had three goes at the challenging daily at the power plant with randoms. Failed at the last hurdle even time. Having a break now and getting some food! Trying to find the motivation to have a go after eating!!
 
Guys please help!

What am I doing wrong with matchmaking? I'm only gear rank 149 and it keeps sticking me with people ranked 200 and obviously I can't play in the DZ zone with them.

I'm matchmaking for DZ and it's infuriating, wasted nearly an hour trying to find people to play with.

same thing was suggested on the division forums but if they can bring an end to these exploits/glitches they should introduce seasons, as with diablo 3, & treat the time since game launch as season 1 (i.e. people keep the characters & stuff they have but can go again with fresh characters & empty inventory in a new season).

What do the players with high stats do?

So last night I teamed up with randoms for DZ.
I was lvl 27 at the time.....my team mates were level 80-85 (205 points?). (I leveled up to 32 real fast)
Anyway we started off in DZ lvl 6 and I thought oh god I'm going to get ruined.
It was silly though, their weapons are so strong, we just ran from one boss/landmark/tunnel etc wiping everyone out barely breaking a sweat. Kind of like now when I run around outside the DZ....absolutely pointless.

So now that I'm striving to level up....what for? The game becomes boring and super easy?
I enjoy the challenge missions only nowadays as the others are too easy.

Yeah season pass holders get monthly mat drops through the reward vendor. I'd question whether using a tool or external method to exploit the game goes over the line if flat out cheating. Although sounds like the reward vendor is getting patched in the morning anyway.

Pretty much. Hard/Challenging missions you can solo. You can solo Falcon Lost on Hard too. If you're a glutton for punishment like myself you can group up for Challenge mode on Falcon but it's gets really boring, really fast.
