The Division. Are we interested?

Yup, I haven't played it for over a week now, logged in the other night to abuse the mat glitch but that didn't work for me so logged straight out after.

So glad I didn't get the season pass, gold edition or whatever.

Argh, trying to do challenge mode with random is a nightmare. You really should be able to matchmake for players who run high electronics (healers) etc.

I haven't stopped but definitely not quite as addicted as I was a few weeks ago. Log on and do the dailies and maybe a bit of DZ or Lexington and log out again usually.

All true but I am still enjoying it and rocking with friends and the OcUK guys makes it fun still. The grind for mats is a joke and I am not one to exploit glitches but I did so wish that claims vendor worked for me but sadly it didn't. Well done to those that got it to work but I will have to keep rocking fairly AGAIN lol.

Dr.Fate, soz bro but it was glitched out for me and I had to go to work, otherwise feel free to join me another time :)

No worries Greg, I thought it was my side - it wasn't loading then I got booted with a Mike or delta.

Symptomatic of my night really - I did the two hard dailies and Madison Hospital on Hard, and for my HE drop reward I received a Performance Mod for each. Just to be sure I ran Madison again, and sure enough, received another performance mod. Four missions and all HE I get are mods? Note to UBI/Massive - mods aren't a fulfilling reward for a mission...add them as an extra. At least give me a piece of gear that I can analyse to see if can use - make me make decisions and weigh up the pros and cons.

I decided to have a look at Incursions - solo hard. Didn't last long there, but it may be do-able if I research it a bit more. Then decided to go to DZ, and as I am GS 163 didn't last long there.

I then went back to the BoO and was looking through some gear. Decided to change out a HE backpack I had in the stash but hit deconstruct instead of equip. After that it was time to call it quits! Quite a contrast to my night before.

On another note, I was also doing some clean up of missions I had missed during the levelling up. Did the virus research mission at the school in Kips Bay. What a beautifully constructed environment - after I did the mission I just poked around and had a look. Makes me think that they must be going to use these types of locations for future missions - all that work for a mission that most players will blast through in less than 15mins?

Cheers,

Is there some reason its the same dailies every day atm? guess some bug on server end.

According to the data files discussion yesterday, the missions are all hard coded, and are scheduled that way. They look like they've been cut and pasted in blocks for a period. The dailies are coded up until the 26th May, which may be when the next instalment is launched.

The reason we didn't have any just before Incursions was launched is that there were none coded for those days - assuming Incursions was late and the code took the dailies up to the original release date.

Also, you can see in the code when we had a few days where there weren't any after Incursion was released - the dates were wrong for those days, strengthening the assumption that they had been cut and paste from other days.

Cheers,

This game really intrigues me but the amount of cheat talk is really putting me off when the game is still £20+

Is there any point playing it casually/solo when I get an hour or so away from the wife if it's not only harder but also stupidly unbalanced due to the above?

Ta.

Absolutely - and in fact, I enjoyed the journey from 0-30 more than I am currently enjoying 30 (welcome to the end game, hey lads?).

My advice - take your time going through all the areas, do the missions, collect the Intel and level up appropriately. Engage with the story, along the way you will be able to progress your character and feel good as you get more gear, unlock more talents etc

By the time you get to 30, they might have fixed the end game. Apart from the glitches/hacks etc, they still haven't got the balance right between HE drops/material collection and crafting. This doesn't really worry you yet..but collect and deconstruct everything you don't want to use. Never pass by a fabric store or tools location without picking it up. If things don't change, you will need it all, particularly after GS 160.

Cheers,

Had a go at the DZ with an 8 man strong group lol!! Was quite fun for a few hours until the cheaters came in and started pelting us with RPM modded weapons.

Jedifragger - you joined just as the cheaters came in unfortunately.

So after lots of tinkering, gear mod rolling and assigning in different ways I have come up with this...At first I thought it was a glitch but then I started switching weapons about and it is all good, cant reduce it and the shooting range confirms the same basically.

Skill power - I don't care about on this build at all as I have a second set of gold gear that allows for 50k electronics and doesn't reduce stamina much.

GS is also 204 if I equip my mp5 but that's irrelevant.

Plans for the weekend - gain the remainder 4 ranks to 75 and craft the first wave vector to compare to the mp5...if that is crap than I continue to rank 90 to get the other SMG(still cant remember the name...Valkrie?)

Tonight was funny, didn't make much DZ progress but was a good laugh all the same.

Ubi are aware of the repeating dailies. They're supposed to be issuing everyone 150pc this weekend as compo for the last time this happened but not seen confirmation.

@Ubisoft Hi there, we are aware of an issue where daily hard and challenging missions have been repeating for several days.

Fun night running in a large group, thanks all :)

Went back in for a bit more and a group of three randoms invited me to join after I killed a boss, what a nice group they were. Even managed to take on four rouges and kill them in the Q building, went around for an hour going after bosses.

Managed to finally get a decent roll on my 204 gear first wave vector after 10 attempts, tested it in the DZ and it melted the big guys by the library, a few seconds face to face and they were down without an issue, definite improvement over my current one. This is now my primary weapon until I get a roll that has the armour destruction talent as I really like that one.

Switching to this vector from my vector acp increased my DPS from 196k to 208k :D

The first wave vector that I rolled has 10.8k damage and 23% critical damage. Talents are self preserved, deadly and fierce.

My armour is at 48% so that needs improving, but hopefully I will get better green item to replace the current versions. Hopefully when they rotate the shops around I can buy the missing 214 striker/sentry gear. But having lowish armour score doesn't affect me that much.

Here is my current loadout at the moment, very happy with it so far.

Had loads of fun last night in our big group! Here we are doing The Fragger:

Read carefully everyone; you can hire us for all your DZ parties! As you can see, we are a well choreographed group with a passion for 9 AM, closing car doors, fashion and pink mittens.

My weekend plans for the game: rank up in the DZ as much as I can, get loads of PC, run supply drops to get more/better gear sets and dailies (maybe finish the weekly as well).
