First day as a civilian!

Thanks for the messages of support. Joined and made it to SNCO before Commissioning 6 years ago...3 tours in Iraq, 3 in Afghanistan, 2 postings to Cyprus. TBH I am rather glad its over but overall I enjoyed. Once I headed onto terminal leave I was approached by a recruiter and after a 3 stage interview process I got the only job I applied for -with a nice pay rise! I have zero inclination to join the auggies.

If i'm honest that's what i've had enough of the most. They offered me a 6 year extension to my Commission but the thought of all the extra standby's and tours!.... "thanks, it's been great, but no thanks".
