International warranty on mobiles

If I bought an iPhone in the USA would the warranty be honoured back in UK? I'm assuming with Samsung it would be no chance?

Careful with the bands the handset operates on. Many US market phones do not support the same set of frequencies as the European ones.

If this is for an S7 be aware the battery life and processor (but not gpu) is better in the international model available in the UK. To give it some perspective, the international S7 (normal) is better in battery than the US S7 edge which has a 20% bigger battery.

Apple warranty is Worldwide from my experience with all their products.

I had purchased a pair of Beats in the US and the UK support team organised my replacement. I can't see it being different for their other products.

You should be ok with Bands etc for the mobile given it's a SIM Free product from Apple if indeed you are being from them but you may want to check the frequencies will work with 4G/3G etc in the UK.

I'm pretty sure last time I checked that Apple phones aren't covered by international warranty. They are pretty much the only apple product that isn't. Correct me on that if I'm wrong though, I haven't checked in a year or so.

For Apple, ^^^^ This, pretty much. If it's got a mobile radio, then there's a very high chance they'll not uphold the warranty request... specific exclusions for iPhone and iPad with mobile capability. Current warranty information isn't ABC clear in its explanation, but it's pretty much a no go on the mobile kit.

Owt else is pretty much fair game though I think.

I'm almost sure you are right, which is why i asked the question to double check. I was in the Apple store last night and almost asked the question of the sales assistant... however, having played with a couple of the models I realised there was no point in asking. :p
