Corsair K70 RGB - double striking

Hi,

I have an issue with my K70 RGB keyboard which started over two maybe three months ago now where it would randomly double type a key. It doesn't seem to matter which key is pressed it will randomly double type on any key.

Is this a known issue with this keyboard and is it possible to go back to an older firmware rev to see if this has caused the issue?

Tempted at this stage to go back to an old membrane keyboard.

I doubt firmware would cause such an issue. However it is definitely a fault and Corsair will replace it for you.

Are you sure you have your CUE profile set correctly?

Thanks you may well have solved my issue! Early days yet but I had an unsaved profile that as soon as I saved to memory my issues have not been present!

Seems odd but its looking good so far!

Ok so that was not my issue. Just coincidence.

However, for the last couple of days now the double typing seems to have completely disappeared after removing all the keycaps and cleaning thoroughly along with removing the rubber orings I installed because a while back I thought it improved things a little on my hollow ikea desk when tapping down on keys.

Funny thing is I now prefer the sound and feel of standard non dampened keys and on top of the that the problem with double typing has gone for good, for now..
