The Division. Are we interested?

theyre going to talk about glitchers/hackers on thurs on twitch by the sound of it.

Like they do every week yet nothing is done. Massive is all talk and no action on that front.

I haven't been in HackZone approaching 3 weeks now and I have zero reassurance that it has improved especially when you can look on cheating websites and see that there are new hacks released every day/week.

I stick to PVE and that brings it's own problems especially during matchmaking as it boggles my mind how people with a Gear Score as high as 205 still manage to die and don't know how to play Incursions on Hard Mode which is a walk in the park compared to Challenging.

Due to the cheating I am low on DZ Credits, materials, weapons, Division Tech and the latest blueprints and have lost all motivation to go in there again which has affected my characters progression massively as well as the group I played with from OCUK putting the game down until it is all sorted leaving me to find and play with another regular group.

Maybe you have more patience with cheaters but I don't. Maybe you play during odd times at the night. Maybe you have just been extremely lucky and never come across as many as I have (after all I have played the game much longer than you).

I agree, the two games aren't really comparable in terms of how cheating affects it, it was the only other game I could think of though.

I don't think I have even been locked in a shop by you lol! Thankfully, as its annoying, especially when you have to kill yourself. So depressing lol

Guess I will have to fix that then :D

And yeah, it is superb just seeing people stand there for about 10 mins only to leave or kill themselves muhahahaha :D

If anything, they should be more concerned about what I am doing to their cars when they are busy shopping ;) :p

if its client side then i believe it'll be patch 1.2

I hope you are right. Now that state of the game and maintenance has been moved to Thursdays I hope that they have finally nailed it and bring a decent update that doesn't effect the servers which are still occasionally laggy.

Honestly I haven't come across anyone using an obvious cheat like a teleport yet, despite spending quite a lot of time in the DZ. I'm sure it exists as a problem, but if you read the reddit it sometimes sounds like you can't move for hackers when that simply isn't the case - it's still fairly uncommon.

Is anybody else plagued by eratic frame rates? It seemed to run ok in SP (still got up and down frame rates), then had the odd game with a mate doing some of the SP missions. I started to notice the issue then.

Now I play solely in the DZ it seems near constant, I have framerates up into the 70's and as low as 40 in some areas and situations. I expect some drops during intense MP firefights but it can drop just by looking down some of the streets. Are my expectations too high with this system?

This is my system spec.

Running the game on medium /High settings
All system temps well below par, even under load.

What vsync settings are you using?

I have vsync off in game, and Adaptive vsync forced via NVidia control panel and its perfect.

However, if I have vsync on in game, it is super choppy

I know I am on SLI at Ultra settings, but a single TI with those settings is more than sufficient.

Shock as high level players discover hackers aren't targeting them :p

That doesn't even make sense as a comment, even though you did put a little smiley face after your post :p

Hackers will almost certainly be on the Dz161+ server, so be facing high level players only, and they can't tell what level someone else is before you teleport in and kill them can they?

Cheers Gamble will take look tonight, currently at work. To be fair I was getting the exact same issue on my old 24" Dell 2408WFP . I even bought another 8gb of RAM as I thought it was down to a memory leak initially.

Thanks for the suggestion though I will still take a look when I get home.

On an unrelated note, has anyone got the new AMD drivers, crossfire is apparently fixed now... Can't wait to get home!!!

I hit 8gb RAM on ultra, so I reckon medium high at 1440p would be about 5/6gb so you should be good :)

Let us know how you get on.

OOOOOO finally!! Fingers crossed it works fine.

I will hopefully be online about 8:30/9 again.

I have put around 250 hours into the division so far, and I have found around 10 cheaters in total that affected my gameplay in terms of shooting through walls and crap like that.

The remainder were using RPM hacks etc and got pwned regardless which was hilarious to be honest :P Especially seeing the complaints in the text chat haha!!

457 hours played so far and still enjoying it.

Crafting: ridiculous decision to change the ratio's. Running around the map farming mats is pretty pointless now and bloody time consuming for very little gain.
HE drops from dailies, etc,.: the ratio of actually getting something decent you can actually use or is of any benefit is fairly low. I have lost count of the number of performance mods I have deconstructed. I have 4 characters in play, so would think I have a better chance of utilising some of the drops, but no. I would estimate 1 in 20 drops, I could probably use to benefit my stats.
