Going to sell the E10's and the Image ONE's.

Keep the AKG's for late night loud gaming. Senns for music.

Picking up some AKG Y50's for work, conference calls and travelling.
 
I purchased some K550 MKII from the MM on a whim. Hopefully they are suitable for my overly fussy self. Have you changed the earpads PapaLazaru or still with stock ones?

Just stock, they seal perfectly on my head. I think you might like them, I certainly do enough to want to keep them.

I look forward to trying them, I want to use them for work but I need to find a cheap but decent usb DAC. I see they are 32ohm so I'm not too fussed about amping them.

I have the DacMagic XS V1 (which I also bought at £49 at Black Friday 2 years ago). It's a very good DAC with a built-in amp...and the best thing about it is it can be used with Android device, and I use it with my phone on the go all the time.
 
Just joined the Massdrop for HiFiMAN HE-350 I not sure why I did but the price and amount people jumping on this made me do it.

I have no idea if these will be better than what i already using Philips Fidelio X1 but just thought worth a gamble.

What I do need help with though guys the cable length is not long enough, can anyone recommend me a 3m cable for this headphone.

Cable direct on the rainforest for the X1 not too expensive and perfectly fine imo.

for the 350's are they split like the 400i's? If so i've not had a great deal of luck finding cheap replacement cables.

For the 350 mate, already have cable for x1. But I cant use that :( on the 350 the left and right ear has its own 3.5 jack so i'll need to replace that. if I cant find replacement i'll just use this headphone for music on my phone etc
 
yeah i've been looking as i don't like the 400i cable

Pexon will make one but you're looking at £40 which on a pair of £80 headphones seems a lot.

£40 is a lot of money am not ready to spend on a cable. I don't even know why I bought the 350 haaa seemed good at the time. Am now like mah
Guess if I dont like i'll have no issue selling it on.

Will do, looking here and comparing the cable to He-300 and 400. on the 300 the jack into the headphones looks different? almost like it screws in?

Where on the 350 its a standard 3.5 jack, surly this will make it easier to replace?
 
That's a very good price on the 350's, if I didn't own better already I'd of jumped on them, shouldn't get stung by customs either.
 
Didn't get on with the K550, sound wise they were ok but my ears just burn up so fast. I do not get on with leather/ette at all it seems. Guess I'll stick to open cans.
