The Division. Are we interested?

They need to start wiping the stats & resetting cheaters loadout gear back to default, that would instantly solve the problem.

It is good to see them doing something about the cheaters at long last but they really need to sort out the crafting and drops to get me and others back to playing this.

Also, I read last night that the game on steam has dropped over 80% of its player base since release  :o

Damn you for your common sense. However, preach Brother, preach! :D

14 day bans are pointless in themselves. Anyone caught hacking 14 day ban plus all characters levels + inventory to be reset to zero, some of those guys probably have enough credits to buy every blueprint the devs are set to introduce for months.

I've only encountered someone I thought was hacking once, and to be fair I'm fairly rubbish so it was probably just me. I have no issue with being shot by rogues, or smacktalk (unless its racist, which Ubisoft took three weeks to respond to) - these are risks you take in the DZ. I've no doubt hacking happens, it just hasn't affected me yet.

So, from my personal experiences, my real issue is the sheer number of people in the DZ who got where they are from glitching - I've seen it in this forum, among my online friends, and in game chat - people wanting to glitch to get easier/quicker access to equipment or currency. So they're running about in awesome gear and I will never be able to match them without either glitching myself, or spending weeks and months doing what they've managed in days. No thanks. In my opinion that's just as bad as hacking - and they should be rolled back as well.

So I'll stick to dailies and Incursions and only the occasional trip into the DZ - to keep my blood pressure down :D

LFG HM FL GLITCH <200K DPS/75k stam/15k elec> 182GS> PC credits, big drops, /w me!

The above was chat spammed majorly when the FL glitch was about. Had to turn it off lol was annoying

Just got the server will be shutting down in 30 mins. Not surprised, there's been a lot of issues. Need to get Lex done on hard before it does.

Edit: nope, it's bad. NPC don't react when I'm shooting at them, my shots don't do any damage, my character has no shooting animation but the crosshairs show I'm shooting and there is the shooting sound. I went to take a selfie next to the rikers but the game crashed again.

I'm done for the day, hope it's fixed for you guys getting on later.

Cheers,

clarification (i bolded the bit in the middle):

I'll attempt to answer some questions you have posed concisely.

Does this mean people who've exploited the incursion and have all the gear will not be punished?
The processes and stance laid out in the article is for everything going forward.

Do permanent bans happen on Uplay accounts?
Yes, all suspensions and bans are based on Uplay accounts, not characters.

Why don't you permaban cheaters instantly?
As has been mentioned, there are some legal constraints that prevent us from doing this.

You should communicate numbers and/or names of banned players!
We're aware that a large part of the community would like to see communication such as this, however it is not currently our intention to do this.

We need a better reporting system!
We're aware that the current /report feature is not optimal. Our dev team will work on this feature to bring it in line with our vision of how it should work and look.

There's something else wrong, that's for sure. It became unplayable for me, and even getting through Grand Central was tough on the third go. It froze a couple of times but came back. Hits were not registering, or there was significant lag, during the battle in the control room, NPC weapons were floating and shooting while the bodies they belonged to were elsewhere, and NPC were floating all over the map. I've had at least 10 deltas and mikes.

First time I've experienced this level of unplayability. Good luck for later.

Cheers,

there was a problem with the London datacenter earlier, maybe its not 100% resolved.

[RESOLVED] Server issues April 29th - MIKE error 20250383
We’re aware that some of you are currently experiencing MIKE error 20250383.
This is caused due to technical problems currently affecting our London data center.
Our engineers are currently working to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience

UPDATE: Please try waiting 5 minutes in case you get the MIKE error, trying again after that period should route you to the nearest data center, other than London.
If you are getting a message saying your character has been temporarily locked; please click confirm. You should only lose around 10 minutes of gameplay with the forced character rollback.

UPDATE 2: The issue has been resolved and players should not encounter the current issues anymore. If you do, please contact www.support.ubi.com
