I've never seen The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. What am I missing?

It is a very good film though I actually prefer "For A Few Dollars More"

So do I. Though I think that Eli Wallach should've won the best supporting actor Oscar that year (not even nominated) for his role as Tuco.

FTR the blu-ray trilogy sits pride of place on my shelf & gets watched now & again.

My friend lent me the film a while back and I put off watching it for a long time not really being into these kinds of films.

After watching it, I wondered why I had waited so long to do so. Enjoyed it thoroughly and the ending is brilliant.

Unforgiven, along with The Good, The Bad Trilogy are an excellent choice. Unforgiven was Clint's last true western and a great film, it is up there with the best westerns so watch and enjoy.

My personal favourite for The Good, The Bad trilogy is the second 'For a few Dollars More' very dark and that haunting musical box theme!

Pale Rider is also a good one to watch - although I am biased as it is my favourite western along with Tombstone (Kurt Russell).

A musical box? Heresy! It's not a musical box, it's a watch. And it's a watch that plays a pretty major part in the plot of the film.

Ahem, slight oversight on my part ;)

Absolutely right (I will get my coat) It has been a while :)

I just remember watching and thinking, by gum this is dark!

Im 27 right, and i've spent fair few hours watching a lot of films, i've seen the top rated ones (Godfathers, Goodfellas, Green Mile and Shawshank, Shaolin, Ip Man) and ive seen the worst ones (Rubber, Mortal Kombat etc etc)

I can safely say A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, greatest pieces of art ever, everything about them was perfect, the soundtrack was mind blowing, literally turns the whole experience into something that still imo hasn't been replicated by anything. I actually thanked my dad for making me watch these when i was younger, i watch these now and still im left in awe!
