Thanks for running the Incursion G-Man/Fear/Mario :)

Now have 4 Strikers and 2 Tactician (thanks for the Vest donation Mario!!!)

Only problem is is that the Tactician set isn't giving me the +4000 skill points!!!! Think it may be because one of the Strikers gear is giving me nearly 5000 on its own though...

I'll switch to Sentry's call for those 2 asap :D

Sure mate! Tonight we'll do it differently, spoke about it with Mario and he had this great idea that works; you three go in the pit and I stay on the balcony providing overwatch with my high damage M44 sniper rifle. They should leave me alone and be focused on you guys. Will be fun trying it differently!

It was good fun and apart from the somewhat shocking start, we dealt with it rather well. Helped by all staying close and plenty of revives. Turn that damned Parkour off though lol, jumping up in front of all those shot gunners was fun to watch lol :D

seen a guy in a Youtube vid using his sentry gun to distract the big guns at the apc .. seemed to work well

It does or did work but not really worth it I found. Planting the bomb is a case of one guy going whilst the other 3 stay in the middle and popping the ultimate as you jump over to place the bomb and hope the other 3 stay alive. If the bomb planter dies after planting, it is no problem as you will be revived by the checkpoint.

First bloody setting I'm changing!!!! Bloody pain on this level :D

Yeah Mario was epic, I bow to you man!

I'll be on shortly as well, let's try the overwatch idea! I'll put 4 sentries on to stack damage and you will do the same damage; it goes for the whole group!

Got some good dz levelling done in the end. Despite a phase of getting shot in the back after clearing bosses with randoms.

Got some striker gloves (don't tell Mario), with a not terrible roll so got some matching knee pads to get the armour damage bonus which is nice. Then got a better holster which has activated stats, now my mp5 has brutal, destructive and unforgiving. The m44 now has prepared (damage increase over 40m).

Not a bad result.

what gear level do you guys recommend for the incursion?
currently I'm 168, 117kdps, 52khp, 15k skill.

I would say your still undergeared... Im 180GS and only just scraped through with a decent team (170kdps 80k health 12k electronics) i think you will struggle unless you have a good group to carry you

Don't focus on gear score, focus on the numbers behind it.

Stamina - I would recommend 65k at least(with a high armour %) but along with that having a high damage weapon will keep the shotgunners away for example.

a lot of people worry about stamina for these but without a good damage per second weapon, the enemies will get close and destroy you. Lol

Example: I have 277k dps now unbuffed and 87k stamina and I reckon I could do the incursion with 60k stamina as I have the firearms to flatten a level 32 noob in just under a clip. Or a sniper in three good shots(if my sniper behaves which it hasn't been) and that is with a full armour mitigation of 65%.

My gear score is 208, so most people will assume I am l33t yo whereas in reality, if I remove my handgun, gs is 206, if I remove my scar-l which I never use or remove my tactical acr, it goes down to 204 and when I get good rolls on a yellow pack and holster I will be replacing my two piece sentrys call with that(as I can get higher stamina and firearms with it for a lesser price in some cases) and that may result in a sub 200 gs buy my stats behind that gs may well be better than a 220gs player.

When I am back online I am going to buy the last 2 sentrys blueprints and try a 4 piece sentrys loadout so I can swap and change between 4 piece strikers and sentrys. But I am hoping the patch arrives sooner rather than later so I can test this new tanky stuff. I am also going to reroll one piece of my strikers towards stamina instead of firearms so I can get around 270k fps, 100k stamina. :)

I'm going to miss the game this week I think :(

What would you recommend doing? currently im running challenging missions but they only drop 163? is it a case of braving the hackers in the dz?

Made that mistake once, never again :P lol visiting family.

I would say, keep running challenging missions to get those phoenix credits up, and buy some of the level 183/204 blueprints from the vendor and craft. Although some of the ready made 182/204 gear is damn epic from there. There was a tactical vest with 100k stamina there the other day and another vest which would have given me 320k dps....

Aside from that, group up with people on here and run the dz as some very good weapons and gear can be obtained from the dz vendors as well as the named bosses. They require dz credits though and some are dz level locked but running as a group is safer, and generates xp a lot quicker.

Finally, try and get a good baseline for your stats such as dps/stamina/electronics before rolling to specific areas as you can get stuck in a place where nothing can be rerolled to give any gains.

That is my recommendation anyway which has worked ok for me :)

Edit: Dps is important but try not to get hung up on it. Damage, rpm, mag size and talents are much more relevant.

I'll do that then cheers, my gun's a bit odd atm, quite high rpm but also very stable if I hold and empty the mag in one go, if i release and re apply it flys all over the shop.
