I'm genuinely worried about what the hell is going on at our universities, though. How will these people survive in the real world when their boss gives them a reality check? Will they seek legal advice because their "cis, white male boss" told them that they need to actually do some work instead of browsing Facebook LBQTXVFJHQGHJKWBBQetc groups all day on their smartphone?

Maybe calling someone a **** (rhymes with hunt) should be the opening gambit in all interviews to screen out all the delicate ********** in future. :p

Regressive left needs to be put in its place! :)

I do wonder if the broader curriculum is a factor. I mean in a UK university you'll just pick a single subject or a dual honours degree whereas in the US they don't pick a subject(or 'major') initially (AFAIK) but have a broader curriculum so many more students will end up attending say gender studies lectures (partly because it might be a soft subject to fulfill some of their arts/social science requirements). Simply having more students exposed to soft subjects where academics can put forwards hypotheses about the 'patriarchy' and 'privilege' simply based, not necessarily on any rigorous empirical approach, but on having thought about it for a while and maybe cherry picking some stats. These ideas then get taken at face value by some and treated as thought they're physical laws...anything can then be blamed on the 'patriarchy' or 'privilege'.

It is like they want the university to have no credibility and 'research' to just turn into thinking about stuff and perpetuating ideas/explanations they want to be true.
 
The talks Milo Yiannopoulos and Christina Hoff Summers give about these sorts of things at universities is really good. They come across well-informed and articulate it well.

I'm much a fan now of Christina Hoff. She proves how you can be a feminist in a fair, rational and reasonable way with facts. Very classy lady :D.

I'm going to be micro-aggressive and presume the corrected grammatical choices that were perceived to be incorrect but actually reflected their cultural ideologies were the US equivalent of things like 'innit bruv' or 'yo dawg'

But then I'm just a cisgender over privileged white male [everything]phobic person...

I don't know what's happened to America. Gone from a culture of hard working warriors to a bunch of pansies. Can you imagine any of these morons surviving the summer in urban Britain? They'd get a shoe'in on their first venture into the nightlife.

Now the usual claim from SJWs is that women can't be sexist... non-whites can't be racist... because race/sexism etc.. is based on positions of power. But this incident happened in South Africa where whites are a minority and blacks are running the country.

The being fat bit is fairly irrelevant as I think something like 25% of adults are obese these days. However, it's her leftard views that would feel like you're stepping on eggshells for every 5 minutes being with her. Run for the hills!
 
I think she's getting into the 'morbidly obese' category... it isn't so much that she is fat but that it is a source of pride for her which people find ridiculous - at that size there are serious health risks to it and she ought to be making lifestyle changes not embracing it as though it is something to be proud of rather than a reflection of how she's neglected her body.

It's likely simply down to the fact that she's just lazy, so it's far easier for her to come up with some lame, nonsensical excuse for her obesity (i.e. so-called "fat pride").
 
lol, technically it might be for people who describe themselves as 'gender fluid', you don't really know for sure what state they'll be in at a given point in time

should be renamed to a new category - 'quantum gender'
 
Well a lot of obese people do claim to violate the first law of thermodynamics or believe it doesn't apply to them because of some magical effects of their super efficient metabolism.
