Want to go single card again due to heat generation and lack of SLI support in recent games.
Noticed the deal on the Fury at £380, how does that compare to my 780's?

Gaming at 1440p btw.

I went from 980 sli to a fury, although this was due to buying a freesync monitor, obviously fps are lower but I'm one of those that can't tell the difference between 100 and 60 fps

I'm the same tbh.
My display is a Benq 32" 1440p 60hz panel so I can't physically tell the difference between 60 and 120fps + the fact I'm old and blind!
So as long as single card is good enough for 60fps @ 1440p then I'm all good. :D

I would personally wait for the new cards to come and fury to drop in price, sell your 780s get the fury, and then in due time pick up another second hand fury? :)

Just use a single 780 for now if you're really unhappy with sli, As everyone else said new cards are incoming and a 780 isn't exactly a slouch it'll still run anything on the market game wise so spending money on a replacement now is a waste.

It's not that I'm unhappy.
My old i5 750 and P55 chipset need refreshing and thought I'd look at GPU options while I'm at as it seems less and less new games are supporting multi GPU setups (unless I'm wrong!)

You're not wrong, Supports not what it should be.

If I was you I'd at least wait for the die shrink gpu's due this summer .

I'd stick it out for another month tops, 780 sli heck even a single 780 can pack a punch even at 1440p pack enough of a punch for you to wanna wait a little longer and see what the new cards bring (y) as others have said an overclocked 980 Ti 1450mhz+ is comparable to 780 sli

Wait. No point buying anything now unless you really need it. 780sli or even a single 780 will still play most things out decently for the next month or two so just wait for next gen.

A fury is about equal to 7970 or 280xcrossfire. Since a gtx780 is a bit faster than those cards id think that in sli they would be slightly faster than the fury.
