Galactica - VR Rollercoaster (Alton Towers)

Was upside down on submission when it broke down before, the operator just released some clutch or something and we slowly got returned to right way up.

A total non-event.

I wouldn't fancy being stuck right at the top of the lift on Air, it dangles you out over a fair old drop.

Hmm, I couldn't help notice the photos of the amputee girls. The weight they have put on. Is this from the psychological effects? As well as from whatever drugs they might be on? I honestly have no idea what an amputees life becomes day in day out. All I remember was how slender they were when that story broke.

I cannot even begin to imagine what that must be like the rest of your life with a lost limb.

:s

I imagine it's harder to keep weight off when you can't walk normally...

This really, just common sense.

As for the above article, look how much rain there was! I wouldn't of even gone. Some people in the comments on DM saying to close the park... if you think this park then look up Action Park which was in America. Many injuries, safety was terrible, and 2 fatalities.

Doesn't matter if Alton Towers kills 10 people a day, there will still be two hour queues for rides.

Actually, that's not the case, we took our 4-year old a few months after the accident and it was still what I would class as dead.

Only the kids areas had real queues and they were only for about 20 minutes.

Runaway mine train had no queue, they even sent us round 3 or 4 times because it was so quiet.

I have never been and seen it that quiet.

But you'll share a toilet seat?

lol, some people seriously worry to much! If you want scary get someone to do a bacteria test on the door handle/push plate for leaving the gents toilets the number of grown men that don't wash after a trip to the can leads to some disgusting results but we are all still here!

Funnily enough, it's actually one of the cleanest things you'll run across in terms of micro-organisms. there is more bacteria on a chopping board than a toilet seat.

I'm always curious when people say this to me. I mean, I wash my chopping board after every use, I certainly don't wash my toilet seat after every use.

My default response is to suggest I eat a sandwich made on the chopping board while they eat one made on the toilet. Funnily enough they always decline.
