I'm tempted to upgrade a monitor to 1440p dell 25" but with the change of resolution everything will be smaller. Like text etc so just wanted other peoples opinion on if this would be undesirable?

I don't mind the physical size difference too much as I run a 22" dell with a 24" samsung atm.

Anyone tried it?

If you find the text is too small you can use scaling in windows to show everything a bit bigger.

125% for example.

My 28" 4k monitor I let run native without scaling which is fine for me but one of my friends was on my computer and had to put the scaling to 150% so they could read everything properly.

I am using 3 of the Dell 25" 1440 60Hz screens and they are very very nice, as above in windows you can always scale up the text size if needed but they are very sharp and clear.

I switch from 3 x 24" 1080p monitors to these and its a massive improvement.

Sorry I wasn't more clear but my question is actually will it be desirable to run the dell 25" 1440 on mutiscreen next to a 1080 24" monitor?

I'm in the process of upgrading from three 1080p screens to three 1440p and a 4k...

So, currently I have two 24" 1080p screens one 27" 1440p and one 27" 4K screen.

While I can assuredly say that there's a noticeable size difference between the panels you can clearly read all the text (even on the 4K), so there should be no reason not to add a 1440p screen to your set up

Scaling in Windows 10 is your friend. I have a 4K monitor and two 1200p monitors and it all works very nicely.
