If you spotted your idol, would you go up to them?

I spoke to Jeremy Bulloch (the original Boba Fett) at a comic con in Banbury.

I wasn't going to speak to him but he asked me "What's that bloody racket out there?", and amazingly I was able to answer "Zombies!" as there were a few cosplaying zombies screaming outside the unit he was sat in.

spoken to a few celebs over the years and even one member of the royal family.

I'm not a fan of celebs in general and don't understand why people go so crazy for them.

Never understood the celebrity worshipping culture we seem to live in these days.

Got better things to occupy my limited time on this earth than to fawn and drool over other people.

Off topic but is this your website :D - http://purplesat.com/index.php?p=1_32_DISH-SIZES
It's been a while since I've seen somebody use that colour coordination in a sig.

If I met my favourite celeb (I don't have idols) yeah I would.
But I'm not saying who for great of certain mockery

When I went to L.A last year I managed to get free tickets for some documentary in the Chinese theatre. I was 3 meters away from katy perry, ASAP rocky, skrillex and a couple of other people.

I didn't even bother with pictures, but the way they were swarmed with "fans" who were dressed up to mimic the look of these people is unbelievable. Never seen nutters like this before

I don't have an idol as such but I think I might be a bit lost for words if I met a huge movie star like Brad Pitt or Di Caprio. I've met loads of premier league footballers through my job so that doesn't really bother me, they are mostly very normal down to earth blokes who are happy to have a chat about things. Having said that, I'd love to meet Messi at some point, he's probably the closest thing to an idol for me.

I would have to get close enough to remove the condensation from the door of the shower - guess it would be polite to say 'Hi'

ps3ud0

I would have expected that I would have been to nervous to even approach them (and don't think that you should anyway outside of an event) but when I was in Japan last month I went to see a music group I like and there was an option to meet a member afterwards ... so I did meet the (24 year old) member I like in the group and had my picture taken with her (no I'm not posting that).

She was a very nice person despite suddenly having to deal with a large dumb foreigner :)

There is this thing called social media where you have to show off to the world.

I wanted to meet Michael Schumacher but now I just want to see him get better.

Personally I think Michael is a classier professional than Lewis Hamilton. Schumacher oozes class like a statesmen. Lewis wreaks of arrogance like a hipster and lots of gold. As if he was still 20. Full of his own arrogance. Almost like a black Eminem.

You'd never see Schumacher hanging out with the Kardashians or the equivalent.
