Wanted to post this as some people say SLI is dieing ( i agree partly, however some developers still know how to do it!

mine i7 5930K Stock - 64GB DDR4 - 2x 980 Ref SLI 2560x1440 + 4K gsync!

will do it now this EPIC graphics options everything is maxed including SMAA ULTRA

2560x1440
SLI OFF:
Menu screens 65FPS
In game - Low of 68FPS
Average of 75FPS
High of 95FPS

SLI ON
MInium 143fps
High of 143fps
Average 143fps

now to test 4K Gsync!

4K gsync off
Highs of 120FPS
Average 100FPS
Low of 90FPS

Very nice! Wish all developers were like this. Not just SLI though unfortunately. A lot of games are coming out with poor optimisation in general. Division etc.

This shows what it SHOULD be like.
 
Erm, if you are getting 40-50% useage the you would get the same frame rates using a simgle card. Less than 50% useage in SLI is a bad thing. Find some settings to incease!

Its all well and good saying SLI performance is good, but it actually sounds like its not very demanding.

Hm would be nice if all games were like this and SLI did not have problems like stuttering etc. Then a 2nd 980ti would probably be good for a few years, as opposed to having to stick to single cards to avoid problems.
 
I got 50-70fps with everything maxed at 1440 with one 290x, and 100-130 with two, had to make a profile my self to turn crossfire on though, use AFR friendly it gives about 20 more fps than 1x1.
