GTX 1080 Benchmarked

The real question is how long will the aftermarket coolers take to release to the market, and how high can clocks go with water???

Agree'd, but 4k owners don't know it yet.

Nah. Tried both and 4K is where it's at. Just ask Kaapstad, nothing like 4K sharp graphics.

Problem with ultra wide is, majority of the games out there you need to mess about to get them to work and even then some don't, as you get dodgy ui. Even some new games people get disappointed as it is not supported straight away.

It seems to me 4K monitors will take of in the next few years. Ultra wide will just continue to be a niche market. But I do hope going forward all games support it. More choice the better.

Superwide all day for gaming. Had superwide, went 4K, went back to superwide.

Admittedly if I used my PC for any serious desktop work, it would have been a harder decision and ultimately I would have liked to have been able to afford to keep both :D

Not bothered about 4k. Had a 40" 4k, just changed to super-wide 3440x1440 gsync 100hz...and I've not looked back. Same pixel pitch as 40" 4k, easier to drive, better for games and productivity.
