Hey guys, I am in the market for a Wireless AC Receiver, I have been looking at the Asus PCE-AC68 but I was wondering if there were any other similar pci cards that perform well?

OcUK also sell a tp-link model, but last I heard, there wasn't much in the way of windows 10 drivers. That was a few months ago though.

I ended up with the Asus one you have mentioned, the win 10 driver was a fusspot too, I ended up installing different versions and in the end, the first win 10 driver released worked ok after a few attempts, but other members mentioned they had no issues.

Its been good since and I get to max out my 200mb virgin connection with it. (so I can download at over 20mb/s)

Being able to mount the aerials in different places also makes a huge difference.

Thanks for the information, i think i will pick up a Asus one and give it a whirl.

I use the TP-Link 1750 and have 210mbps on virgin through 3 brick walls, but my router is the Asus Nighthawk X6, absolute beasts, once you go 5g you never go back ;)

Agreed! :D

I can get a solid 600mb connection from our router to my pc in the bedroom, not a big house though. The router is only a Virgin Superhub 2 AC. I'd be curious to see if I'd be able to hit a gig with a proper router :)
