Russia will probably win. The way their singer was clamboring on a vertical projection screen with boxes coming out of it had me gripped. Even though the song is not that brilliant to my ears.

Will be playing drinking games on Saturday as we watch. Was messy last year, but fun.
Not taken much notice of it as yet though

We should either:

A) Stop entering
B) Enter an actually famous, well-known act. Win. Then stop entering.

You think a famous act would win? We don't win because we don't put good acts in, we don't win because we are hated. The votes are all political.

Malta always votes for us, because we gave them the Maltese cross. The Scandinavian countries all vote for each other, the Slavic nations vote for each other... what do we have?

The only act that could possibly win it for us is Adele. And she probably won't enter.

Adele? Seriously? I doubt we'd get a vote.

So, five songs into this second semi, and all in English.... :/

I didn't see the first semi, so I don't know how many sang in English rather than their first language.

I don't know about anyone else, but I feel singing in the country's first language should be required. For me, it devalues it a bit by many singing in English. Eurovision is supposed to be about culture, but so many sing in English. :/

Those days are long gone now. Tuesday had Bosnia-Herzogovina in their language but it was the only one. France is likely to be the only other. I agree it was much better to hear songs in other languages. Some of my favourites are songs I have no clue what they're about but they have great tunes.

Didn't realise Australia were in it as a proper contestant. OK... Understandable as a special guest entrant last year what with the anniversary, but as a proper contestant?

Maybe they should allow other countries from around the world to enter and just rename it to Worldvision. :p
