I've got a gopro hero 3 which I'm yet to use, I also have a contour roam 2 which I bought and only used once, they are about £90 to buy but if you want you can have it? I'm never going to use it, it's got 2 helmet mounts and a mini USB cable, it's boxed, you just need to buy an SD card and a bike mount and cable if you intend to keep it charging via the battery if they are available.

That'd be legendary of you mate :) Looking for something for Wales and the Contour looks like it'd do the job.

I would love to ride a Tuono, they sound and look so nice.

The word your looking for is redonkulous, that price is insane.

It ****es me off a little, as that particular model/colour is a rare bike (only made for 1 year) and although they do come up for sale pretty often (1 every few weeks roughly), once you take away the stupidly priced ones, or the ones 300 miles away, you're left with very few bikes to actually buy. There's a nice one in Devon for £6200, but it sold privately in Scotland for £5200 a week before being down in Devon.

That bike will sit at the dealer for weeks/months, I guarantee it, which means it's not out there being enjoyed by it's new owner. No-one who knows Aprilias will pay that much for a Tuono Factory. There was only 1 bidder on the Scotland bike which was a bargain even at the BIN price of £5300.

I know someone who has a 3rd gen Tuono with AR exhaust :D, I doubt I would be able to keep up with him to hear that V4. But maybe next week (if I pass that is), I'll have a chance to hear it. :)

That Tuono looks something like this: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7371/9168147217_5cd72c5dfd_o.jpg
Lovely  That bike has the RSV4 tail too. I'm not a hige fan of the yellow TBH, much prefer the white. Matt black doesn't do it for me either.

The quality of them is amazing tbh.

I've got an exhaust on order, which will hopefully be here next week. I just need to sort the tail out somehow (no official tidy yet), and then I can relax :D.

That's for the Husky SM isn't it? I loose track of who has what bike on here... except wazza. Kawasaki. :p

I saw one on Sunday flying along the A272, no other bike is that colour :D

Yeah the 701 :).

the 701 does stand out - I'm guessing it'd be an acquired taste though :D

Weirdly, first day into work with it, one of the secretaries came looking for me to ask me if it was my new bike - she seemed a bit breathless and in awe of it ;) ahah

It is beautiful here this morning, 13'c, not a single cloud in the sky and the sun is shining. was a nice ride into work this morning at 5.30am. :)

Don't even ask me how I got this video before the conference. :p :D
BTW Its still uploading...

Nice dry day here today so it'll be out in the back yard fiddling & tweaking both bikes today, Not decided what jobs I'll do yet though I'll leave that till I get out there & see how I feel.
Think I'm going to do the Honda up for Resale though just as a little project rather than keep it for myself. The amount I'll use it won't be enough to make it worth while putting up with the hassle of owning 2 bikes. Now I've got a project I can tell it's the work I want not another bike to ride so I'll do what's necessary to get a decent price & then move on to the next one.

1080@120fps

Sami (Guy on the right) said he'll get us some RAW footage, but he didn't upload anything. So we'll have to wait till the release... :(

Anyone done the IAM advanced riding course? It supposedly knocks some off your insurance, but not sure how much.

I'm thinking of signing up to it. With the local group, you supposedly get trained by ex/police motorcycle trainers.

Run a quote with it selected under the advanced qualifications bit and see what difference it makes, it'll probably not be much.

So it depends if you actually want the training or if you just want to knock down your insurance.

This, i've looked at it in the past for cheaper insurance as a bonus, didn't really do much. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what training you have, somebody can still wipe you out or steal your bike.

Probably good for if you want to ride better and/or more confidently in specific scenarios though.

The savings rarely outweigh the cost of the course and not all insurance companies will offer discounts. When they do it's about 10-15%.

I'd do the course purely to be safer on the road but I don't feel I need it at the moment because the only times I've felt endangered is because of other roads users.

Just ran a quote with my current insurance and it's actually more expensive than what I'm paying now if I include the IAM qualification.
