I just picked up a second hand X1 with second hand copies of Horizon 2 and Forza Motorsports 6, considering how much I've invested into PSN and PlayStation the sub £200 I just forked out for X1 with a few games its hardly anything in the scheme of it. But still, I didn't want to spend too much on a console I know is only for a few exclusive games.

I know as most do that PS4 offers better general performance but sort of hard to play Forza on a PS4 - so having both if you find interests in the exclusives is cool, but then it all comes down to cost.

I personally wouldn't have shelled out for a new X1 and new copies of the games I wanted as I only really want the console for a few exclusives and EA Access - so the cost of new is a bit too high for me, but second hand prices and I can justify it.

PS4 also has excellent exclusives and you might want to apply the same logic, find a PS4 cheap enough or second hand at a good price - then the cost of owning both reduces and it becomes viable.
 
I also own both. The PS4 is more powerful, the division looks and runs better on it than on Xbone.

Get whichever your friends have or whichever has more exclusives you like.

If you have no friends that play and are not interested in exclusives I'd probably get the PS4.

I used to have both Xbox 360 and PS3 last gen, used the 360 a lot more at the start but the PS3 with its excellent exclusives and PS+ the 360 soon got forgot about but at the time both offered games so even last gen it was in a way worth owning both.

Seems it might be the same this gen. Only machine I got this gen that I did find gathering way too much dust has been a Wii U. Sold it in the end.
 
Id recommend throwing it onto a USB stick and uploading on another device - its a pain but will lead to better quality images.

Anyone tried to use the browser on the PS4 directly? I dont think you can resolve the folder structure but might be worth having a look

BTW make sure you take screenshots as .PNG which isnt the default

I never find much on the PS+ game list that I bother playing, but for passing the time with a newborn on my lap, pressing pause when I need to, Table Top Racing is having a decent play time from me.

Ignore me I had two tabs open and picked the wrong one! Over to the PS+ thread.
 
Just started Heavy Rain. Off to a dismal start as the text was flickering and animations were juddery. But a reboot cured it.

Now then. "JASON!" "JASON!" "JASON!" :D:D
