Praise Allah to be on British buses

Sly reply ;) according to these figures it seems the white British population have taken a hit. in 2001 50 million with 3 million white other (before the Eastern European nations flooded us from the lovely EU)

In 2011 the total (white British and white other) is 55 million.

You will find he does that a lot, and others, pick out research that suits his argument, i would like to see the true figures now in 2016, the 2011 census is totally useless i think in this context, regarding migration from the middle east that is, has anyone got the true figure of how many people are in the UK now from an Islamic background\culture compared to 2011 census and the sly links from muon?

Is the decline due to Islam? No

Then i suppose its irrelevant if it were true

Some people seem to think so, which is why this thread is such a big hit!

Where has anyone on in this thread said or implied that seeing\hearing the quote he posted anywhere makes things blow up?

Grow up.

Well given that in genetic terms there are far more significant differences between groups of people than skin colour (i.e. two White people might differ genetically far more than one of those White people and some given Black person - skin colour is simply the most visible difference, not the largest), then I don't really see the point of trying to claim the people's I linked above are not "White" when to a visual inspection they are.

I didn't claim they don't 'look' white, I agreed with you and gave an example of a Pakistani tribe that look white. You're stuck on visual inspection, I talk of Asiatic characteristics and genetics. It's why the west can never understand Russia, wanting Russia to be one way while other more visual Asian countries do far worse without so many tender European tears.

They aren't sly links. The wikipedia article combines the groups in the 2011 article (did the 2011 census make a distinction?). Until someone can split them back out, they are the best numbers we have.

Also now people are complaining about European cultures. Jeez.

My final link highlights that a lot of White Other is actually Irish, American, Audtralian, South African, French, German people etc.

The post I was referring to also relates specifically to "Middle Eastern" culture.

Either way nothing is being erased. There are circa 50m British White people in the UK.

Well this ad has been the overwhelming PR success that they had hoped for.

Yep, probably as well known as Oxfam or Unicef now (I'm exaggerating before someone comes in with a retort).

With Ramadan starting soon, generally when practising Muslims pay Zakat and make general donations, they'll do very well.

Who else does this charities aid go to besides this campaign to help Syrians in need?

He may not be the greatest but nothing in my office blew up when he posted that, so i suppose this ad doesnt really matter. The only ads these days which are half decent are booze ads (because they are not allowed to do much so they rely on comedy) and Nespresso ads with Jack Black and George Clooney
But it is still false advertisement, he isn't great, he isn't god, in fact he is the devil.

Haha hardly - the stated aim was "we want to change the negative climate around international aid and around the Muslim community in this country. "

Not to mention the charity in question probably funds terrorism in one way or another.

Sticking these slogans on a bus in London is either trolling or hopelessly naive.

The devil? oh please.

It is no worse than the stupid pseudo-science you see on shampoo and conditioner ads.

If you have ever worked any marketing of any form, you would know that this is not about false advertisement and whether there is a god or not is irrelevant to the advert.

Maybe i can go to red-bull and request my wings.

Agree it is as bad as shampoo adverts etc, but the fact remains that it is still false advertisement, plus it is annoying for Christians (in their own country) becasaue allah is the devil.

I'm not sure you can ever claim false advertisement against something advertising made up sky pixies to be honest.

By it's very definition it's non factual, unless someone has concrete proof that a god does indeed exist never mind what you chose to call them.

Allah is not the devil, he has as much substance and is as responsible for the good/bad as much as every other sky pixie

It is not false advertising in the eyes of the law and it is not selling a product. Whether he is the greatest or not is irrelevant to whether it is false advertising. Are you going to start a thread because you dont like frosties and don't think that they're great?

By whatever you consider false advertising, i could argue almost every ad out there is false advertising.

As for the UK being Christian LOL. The UKs official religion is CofE if anything, which well under half the population (possibly even under a quarter) follow. The UK is a secular country for all intensive purposes, which is how it should be.

If i had it my way, i would make this countries religion COTFSM, at least that promotes intelligent thinking and science over outdated views and concepts.

Highlighted did make me laugh :)

Good post.

Yeah because those brainwashed fanatics represent billions of normal peaceful Muslims

I have no problem with it but you usual knuckle draggers are obviously going to have a problem with it ie Britain First, EDL, BNP ..etc .etc

The peaceful majority don't matter. I personally don't feel any religion has a place in advertising and should be kept to the relevant places of worship.
