Thanks, I'll take a punt then,it'll save me £16

It was for an r6 but has same part number for my bike, same manufacturer

I've got an R16 jacket and the Tractech evo 2 bottoms, they're good seem well made plenty of movement in them. Not been down the road in them so no idea how they stand up on that front and hopefully I won't find out:D

One thing about the jacket is that is it cut quite short but I got the RST connection belt so I can zip it to my Hoods when I'm not going full power ranger.

Not sure how they'd feel on the more sit up position of the N though as they do tend to pull you into more of a racing crouch over the tank.

That's the thing, for a track day I'll need leathers. But I don't really fancy shifting out £600-£700 on leathers which I'll use once in a while, if the RST ain't that bad I might get them. For the price of Dainese leather jacket or A* you can get a whole RST 2 piece suit. :p

BvG has an RST leather jacket that I've seen him wear for some time now, that's going back to like 2012 vlogs.

I got some all in ones hanging on my wardrobe,I bet I've worn em 3 times, felt like I was in a straight jacket with them on,plus it had stretch panels in them that let all the rain in and I'd get drenched

Some wolf ones,I just can't take to leathers

Apparently 2 piece leather suits are a lot more comfortable, for a 1 piece to be as comfortable you would probably need one made especially for you. People vary one from each other, its hard to make a 1 piece even with some sizes that'll fit perfectly on everyone. But with 2 piece you can pick the jacket to your size and bottoms, than just connect them up and boom. :D

1 pieces are designed for track riding and nothing else really.
If you look at someone walking around in a 1 piece they look like quasimodo (not just because of the race hump) as they're not cut for being off the bike.

There were guys at Bike4Life at the weekend walking around with their 1 pieces zipped up while I was absolutely dying in my Hoods and leather jacket.
They must have been able to wring the sweat out of their kit by the end of the day.

One of the guys in the office came in the other day and said the dealer next door has the new R1M in, I want to go and have a look but I know I'm just torturing myself :D

I don't like IL4, its too predictable unlike the V-Twin... although the smoothness of IL4 was nice for the type of riding I was doing, made it a lot easier. I can imagine the Mod1 would be a lot harder on the SV. :p

I'm in for a shock when I ride something lacking in the SV's engine braking, it's rare I have to make any massive use of the brakes unless I'm totally stopping.

I almost went into the back of my mates SV last year :p, if i had not staggered.
He does usually tap the brakes to show the light though now.

Just change down more gears in one go,i regularly go from 6th to 3rd,then second when approaching junctions ect
