So, im not sure if its okay to get a used, or better off new. But I've wanted to get back into playing for a while, suggest any decently priced keyboards that I could buy? maybe around £250 range. WOuld like a stand, and whatever accessories with it :) It's been a while since i played, so ive not kept up with the technology

Thanks

£250 is hardly any money for a digital piano, even 2nd hand. I really think you will have to look at doubling your budget for something like a Yamaha DGX-650.

For exactly, what reason? the 61 key 4 octives is about £200 new, or 100 used, fairly decent to learn to play on again? Or are there features that are essential nowadays?

Yamaha P-45 is a good shout. I paid £2xx for mine last year but looking on amazon they are now in the 330 range which isn't ideal for you!

I would assume that when people say they want to get back into playing piano but express it'll have to be digital, it's expected they'd want a piano feel. ie the full 88 keys, graded hammer action weight on the keys etc hence looking at the proper digital ones. You need these to really learn piano properly, as some techniques rely on the action of the keys.

If you're happy with 61 keys (I've only got a 61-key keyboard from 2002 and I run out of keys all the time) and no weighted keys then your budget works.
