Lt-15 was the one I was stuck on which was 4k via spotting or your own damage. I completed it using my T-54 ltwt on Malinovka(sp) and confess to not actually trying for the mission, happened by chance.
 
I'm just 6 missions from my 260 now - so close I can almost see it in my Garage

In other new's - is anyone putting forward for the re balance testing 2.0?

I believe I qualify for sure :)

Going to be a rough couples of weeks for me, running largely stock T-54, T-10, E75 and M103 at the moment and not far from Caernarvon. Unlocked Challenger last night too but I'll hold off buying it until 9.15 as it's getting a significant buff.

I know I sound like a broken record but still hate the AMX 13 75, I must be missing something about it as it's not getting a buff next patch. Gun is just plain inadequate, autoloader or not. Other than that other light tanks are also faster, better armoured and pack far better firepower so you're not forced to load gold since you get to see so many tier X matches.

The 13/75 ain't that bad, you just have to remember it's a paper box on tracks. I load it 18/18 and try passive scouting at first, then flanking or arty hunting in 2nd half of battle. I tihnk I use camo binos and vents on mine, seem to work okay, even if I hate scout gameplay completely.
 
It's no that bad, but just about any alternative is better than it now. 144 pen is simply taking the biscuit with the MM that it gets, can't even "peek-a-boo" properly as you still need to aim even at sides and back of a lot of tanks. Poor depression and rear (ish) mounted turret rules out working ridgelines like in the American alternatives and can't match firepower of the Russian and Chinese tanks.

Playing that and Bulldog that I currently have, makes for a night and day difference even if latter is a much bigger target. Only upside is that marks of excellence are easy to get.
 
You get the odd player who fires it all the time but if you know the weakpoints of the enemies tank you don't need it. Gold spam is not a problem that I encounter.

Premium ammo can be bought with ingame cash, it always helps to take a few rounds for desperate times or stopping caps.
 

Same thing really...

My last game was 6 vs 2 T8 heavies. Just completely mismatched teams. Had a whole evening of that and also my accuracy is just way off even fully aimed.

That is some seriously impressive work, well done!! Which ones have you got left to do?

I'm about 15 off the T55-A now. Half are the easier platoon missions but I'm stuck on some other infamous ones (Cause 2 fires, do 2k damage and bounce 3 x HP etc).

That's all I have left. However with the changes to some of these missions coming up in the new patch I'm putting them on hold - barring the 3 I'm at the final Mission at.

LT-15, I can comfortably get 7k spot's / damage, it's just the last 1k that I can't get yet
Recommend the 13-90 for this - great clip damage + camo

MT-15, MM has been against me lol. I take a heavy I face a team of TD's. Break out the Bat or the 50/51, not a single TD insight lol.

SPG-15, Just a question of time - I nearly did it in the FV304 rofl was 100 damage off, I think maybe running full heat in the M44 will be the way forward, easy to get over 3k then just a question of being top.

I've already decided were my female's are going

3 will join the one I have left from the t55a and become my Leo PTA / Leo 1 crew the other 2 I'll put in my ELC for the lol's :)

Which tank did you do HT-12 (3) in? I've got really close in T150, O-I, T29, ST1 but not quite managed to do it yet. Part of the problem is that as i've progressed through WoT, you learn how to not get shot rather than rely on armour. This mission is counter-intuiative in that you need to have people hit you to complete.

There are some tough missions there that is for sure! With a bit of time I should be able to get the T55-A, however i'm not sure i have the skill or patience to ever get hold of the Obj.260.

I have a full female crew in my Bulldog, Cent AX and 2 or 3 crew in my T-10.
 
Maus was the one I did that and HT15 in for the 55a

I was very very lucky - managed to bounce 3 183 ap shells which tipped me over having already done 4k damage myself + taken 2.3k in damage

260 ones surprisingly I've not found them to tricky after the 55a - the step up between the 55a and HTC28 were my big stumbling block.

have you read the changes to the missions that are coming in the next patch? I'd suggest doing that cause you may find your life gets easier.

Also don't be afraid to do things that make your life easier

For example MT12, the bane of everyones life due to the RNG involved in this mission
I followed these simple rules

1 - Play a high dpm (quick rate of fire) low alpha tank - Cromwell B of Skoda t25 for example)
2 - Platoon with E25's - Pref MM means that you ahve the samm mm as these but you'll always meet tanks that are at least 1 tier higher
3 - learn were, and what tanks are the best to set on fire. For example I focused American medium and heavies in the rear, because rear engine + Less armor = easier penetrations
4 - Make sure your gunner has Deadeye for increased module damage % chance
5 - Load prem ammo for even higher chance when coupled with Deadeye.
6 - Patience, RNG will taketh, but it will also giveth
 
Aside from usual MM fails, my biggest gripe with it is assault maps with no artillery. That's about the only advantage you can have as an assaulting team since you can spot and let the artillery wear the enemy down before committing tanks forward.
 
Well, I played my first game in quite a number of weeks (maybe a month) ? and although I enjoyed several wins, I just CBA.
I left the Clan TC, not really playing enough to justify being clanned and I never felt the urge to play clan battles with some of the FM's running with suspect tactics :rolleyes:
