Anyone seen this?

A few years ago when I spent loads of time on night shift I signed up thinking I could make use of my down time by making a few extra bob. I was declined and that was the end of it.

A few days ago I go an email from Amazon saying that I had been accepted to the program so I decided to have a look. These jobs pay anything from $0.01 to $60ish depending no time, it looks like you'll earn somethnig like $2 an hour

I'll do a few when I'm really bored but apparently people survive off this as a sole income, it boggles the mind

I'd tell anyone who offers me that kind of money to work for them to do one!

I used clickworker for a while which I think is pretty much the same concept. I picked the jobs carefully and could make up to £10/hour for the most part but it was pretty mind numbing and probably a fast track to carpal tunnel! Well paying jobs were infrequent and you had to really keep the accuracy up to avoid getting blocked from them which was tough working at such a pace. In the end I couldn't be bothered, it was more hassle than it was worth for the extra beer money

Just me or do the top paying jobs look rather bot spammed?

"My ID is xxxxxx not xxxxx, xxxxx, xxxx"

Unless I'm missing what an ID is in this context.

Yeah I dunno. Seems like a lot of effort for very little reward to me. Might just become a prostidude instead.

Are you Indian? If you're in the UK or USA I'm not sure why you signed up for this. It's a scheme targeted at people in poor nations where extreme exchange rates make it viable to hire people for pennies.

Exactly. I suppose for folks in countries like that it may make much more sense but for someone over here it's an unacceptably low income to earn.

Isn't this like Freelancer et all? Makes sense if you make the bidding global, since the pay can be relatively (slave-like) alright for someone with no other income where dollar can go a long way. Why anyone in the UK or US would subject themselves to this...

from a UK perspective looks like a great idea, if you're buying labour... not if you're selling it

with stuff like this there will be plenty of Indians, Russians, Chinese etc.. happy to work for small amounts
