I need to remember to fit my proper sized plate for my MOT next month, didn't think about that when I was sticking my new one on with industrial strength double sided tape :o

Haha, did the same, that things proper stuck :p

I'll come to that when I need an MOT I guess. Might just somehow stick the bigger one on top temporarily with the little reflector.

That's what I'm thinking of doing, I've already got one of those little button reflectors stuck over where my plate light was so at least that's done.

Depends what you do and how badly you pee them off and pull you over, they will go to town on all the illegal add ons on your bike

Otherwise your normally fine

Edit: I had no trouble with passing mot with a 7x5" plate on btw

Throttle out of it, easing off usually makes it worse depending on the severity :D and its nothing to do with your arms, I take it your bike doesn't have a steering damper? it doesn't take much when the front end goes light to make the front end shake, specially if its a bike with clip ons.

Perhaps it was that. Odd though, i ride that road nearly every day and I know for certain i've gone quicker down it but it's never happened before.

No damper, but I must admit as soon as it stopped the word 'damper' went through my mind... then I just started laughing.

Just saw a guy doing a bike test through Baldock, then remembered IC3 is doing his MOD2 today, could've been him.

Good luck dude!

I can't believe it's a year next bank holiday since I started my training!

This year I'll be dying of a hangover from a wedding rather than crapping myself at the first feeling of properly opening up a 650 after riding a 125 :D

I did my test 11 years ago i think. Restricted one back then. I failed the first time due to hesitating apparently which was bull****. I decided to wait for the bus for a little while instead of potentially getting wiped out at the junction he'd stopped at. Grrrrrrrr.

My instructor wasn't happy with the guy that did the test.

I just hate tests full stop. Everyone I went I was 2nd and the people before always put pressure on me but I passed both first time with 1 minor on mod 1 for not checking over shoulder as leaving test area and 2 on my mod 2. As far as I was concerned I aced it all lol

@Rossi~, Saw you in Baldock (roundabout in town centre) today on your GSX650F, I was on the white CB650F.

Passed Mod2, instructor in the car. I got a minor for speeding and didn't use an indicator once... it was a strange roundabout. :p

Haha! Thought that might be you.

Well done mate! Congrats! Get on that SV!

I've been on a bike from 7:50 till 14:50, a bit tired. I only slept 3-4 hours, I'll take a break and sort everything out so I can ride.
