The trouble with that is humans, generally, have large brains. These large brains mean we don't always have to act according to instinct and can engage cognitive thought. This thought should be...it's small, it's in the UK, it's not a threat, stop screaming like a pig on heat.

I think the biggest spider might be called Norm, thats about as far as i can identify. He might have a wife and kids and be originally from Norwich.

They're standard-issue garden spiders

Leave them alone and they'll bunch up, then tap the edge of the web and they'll spread out
