found out i work with sex offenders and other unsavory characters *UPDATED*

I've been working at a company for a couple of years now, i am a supervisor and i am responsible for about 40 employees over 3 shifts. We have a high turnover of staff, our current level of staff is around 430. We easily turnover around 150 employees a year.

As you can imagine, we have exhausted all the local skilled workforce, and so we have a lot of parolee's, and people from Halfway houses. Basically the company can pay minimum wage and the state picks up the rest. Great news for an employer, not so good news for your average naive expat.

So i got told to go on the state police website and put in a couple of guys names after talking about the current employee situation to one of my guys.

I found some eye opening facts about a couple of guys and apparently its just the tip of the iceberg.

Guy 1.

Qualifying Offense(s):
NH RSA 632-A:2, III 3 Counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault(Victim under 16)
NH RSA 632-A:3, II Felonious Sexual Assault (Victim 13 or older & under 16 & age diff more than 4 years)

Agg. Fel. Sex. Assault Conviction Date: /2007
Agg. Fel. Sex. Assault Conviction Date: /2007
Agg. Fel. Sex. Assault Conviction Date: /2007
Felonious Sexual Aslt Conviction Date: /2007
Agg. Fel. Sex. Assault Conviction Date: /2006

Guy 2.

Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Images (victim U18)

Both these guys i talk too on a daily basis and had no idea of their past activities. One of the guys who got fired recently had a history of aggravated Kidnap and Assault.
Only last week one of my 1st shift guys was fired and we had the police present because we didnt know how it would go down. This is not a one off either. We have regular visits from the local plod arresting people at work and we even had this happen 5 mins after he left work.

I am really surprised we haven't had an active shooter incident yet, but its probably only a matter of time.

Nothing surprises me any more and i've kind of become numb to the people i work with, i do work with some really nice normal people, but theres a lot of scary people, esp on 3rd shift.

I've never had such an exposure to the other half of society, i mean i am from Burnley and have been thrown over the counter at Mcdonalds back in my younger years but even Mos Eisley has nothing on my current employer.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

TLDR: Looked up who i work with and they are Paedo's..

UPDATE IN POST #40

My skin would crawl and blood boil if I found out I worked with a nonce and found out like you did.

You leaving?

Not yet m8 unless i get to the point with all the other crap that goes on, you must have heard some of my work stories when you were on Warthunder lol.

Done quite a bit of warehouse work in my time and the temps you get through there can often be a bit unsavoury. Fair few with histories for assault (usually illegal debt collection, etc.) one who'd done time for murder and another that we figured out (he didn't exactly make much of a secret of it) was going on holiday to certain parts (Belize, Thailand, etc.) and doing stuff involving underage girls - eventually law caught up with him.

150 turnover... the conditions and pay must suck.

your taking paroles and what are you expectring .... no criminal record...lol

Have they not done their designated time inside. ???

Couldn't handle it.
The staff turnover
The characters

I'd have to leave.
Even if the pay was good.

Makes me think how many people unsuspectingly work with peados and all sort's. Look at the Jamie Bulger murderers. Their out now, they must have a job to live. Feel sorry for the unsuspecting folks who work with them everyday, or Baby P's mum who was released under a new identity. Makes my skin crawl to think of it.

It's inevitable you're going to have scumbags working for you on minimum wage with a turnover like that, agencies and what not will take on anyone.

A friend of mine recently told me he's working with a guy who got caught 20 times over the drug drive limit, multiple people at his place are under the influence whilst at work.

Yeah what do you expect if your company treats employees in such a way that the turnover is so high it is kind of inevitable that you are going to end up with such characters. Maybe they should look at the employment practices if they want to improve the situation. It cant be good for running costs having to recruit and train so many people each year. Let alone the loss of productivity.

Whats your concealed carry permits like?

As redneck as that sounds if i was surrounded by people like that in a country with such firearm freedom you can be damn sure i'd be packing so i can at least die fighting
