There are a lot more cars than planes also..
Ive survived 5 motorcycle crashes and walked away from each.
How do you think i would have fared with 5 plane crahses

Well did they or did they not?!
I still find it crazy that I can track a plane on my mobile phone (to what degree of accuracy I am not sure) but as soon as something goes wrong the plane disappears. I can understand not being able to trace it using the conventional methods if the plane has a fault but surely they know the general area it was in would radar or other technology not pick it up?
And so the chances of my stepping onto an aeroplane in the near future decrease even more.
There's not that much room for it to go missing this time is there?
Statistically you are more likely to die from laughing at the silly things people say on the internet than in a plane crash.
You can't be very good on your bike thenIve survived 5 motorcycle crashes and walked away from each.

Well there is no guarantee you will be killed instantly in a car crash. You could end up trapped in the vehicle and slowly bleeding out from a horrific injury while screaming for help. Or you could be trapped as the vehicle is slowly engulfed in flames and you burn to death.

I also went on 2 planes last week and i'm here, i'm not the best flier either.
What i find strange though is that the plane was at 37,000ft and only 20 minutes from landing, surely it would have started its descent by then? I mean, we started our descent over London last week, 30 minutes before landing in Manchester. Same on the way out to BGY, we started descending about 30 minutes from landing.

To follow on from this, the risk of dying from laughter from a joke posted in GD is approximately 0%.
Equally you're much more likley to survive a car crash
Pretty well to be honest.
"In the United States, between 1983 and 2000, there were 568 plane crashes. In 90% of them there were survivors, and out of the 53,487 people onboard, 51,207 survived."

.There isn't that much radar coverage in the world, especialy over seas and oceans.
What would be the point in it half the time? Putside of military purposes

Hearing the reports of the recording from that Apls flight - the comment about people's screams suddenly get louder just before hte end of the recording is harrowing to me.
