Artificial grass

Didn't cost me a great deal as I got the grid for free from work. For domestic rated grid, it would probably have cost something like £400 - £500 IIRC. The grid I have is much heavier duty stuff as used commercially! :)

The grid itself would definitely hold up to daily parking, the grass however takes a bit of looking after as there's not much soil in the grid, especially in the summer. I had a bit of a problem as I have a drain cover in the middle which has even less soil and gets baked dry quite easily but with a bit of watering it's fine.
 
Any recommendations on places to buy artificial turf online. I am looking for 41msq and currently looking online at all the sites that come the top of Google, Grass Direct etc. Just wondering if any one has any other recommendations that I might miss.

Just thought i'd whack an update in here as I had my grass fitted yesterday.

Really impressed with it. Took them from about 8am - 4:30pm. Garden is on a big slant as you can see from the picture so there was a fair bit of earth removal to be done.

The grass we went for in the end was the 35mm Clumber which is what they have in B&M for £20sqm but I found it cheaper online (by fluke really). The yarn is really thick and it feels great. Shame it started panning it down an hour before they were due to finish as I wanted to go and roll on it when I got in from work!

Only thing I'm not quite keen on is the rear sleepers how it steps up how it does. I might see if there is any way to get sleeper scribed on top next to it so it slants down the same as the garden. Now I just need to suss out if i'm going to bother having the borders as planters or if I should just fill it with decorative stone for now - think I may need to see if can put some extra concrete base panels in on the left hand side as the level of earth in it comes up to higher than the current ones.

How much did you pay to have that done? Interested in a similar thing for my garden but heard it was expensive.
 
Looks good, could you let me know what site you used to get the turf? I am just going through getting samples at the moment from various sites.
