Knife attack at London supermarket

dear lord what a clanger.

So this thread was created to not discuss what happened but to attack some of the forum members for their opinions?

It's a terrible thing and possibly speaks volumes about underfunding of mental health care.

But the last (very similar) knife attack thread went dead pretty much as soon as it was established the attacker was not

A) Islamic fundamentalist
B) muslim
C) immigrant

That wasn't the point you were trying to make or you'd have made it in the OP.

Quite. Although there was also a distinct lack of follow up articles so any informed discussion with new facts was pretty dead in the water.

I know white bread isn't as healthy as brown, but peanut butter is better on white whereas I prefer brown for almost any other sandwich. It's not always possible to have both in at the same time though as one loaf goes mouldy before the other.

That's it I'm not shopping at supermarkets anymore, way too dangerous these days!!!!!!

Just to cover all the usual posts on GD:
1. Send em back.
2. Religion of hatred.
3. Immigration is to blame.
4. We need UKIP running the country.
5. Sadiq Khan is to blame as the mayor of London, this never happened with Boris in charge.

Have I missed something?

6. Poop through the letterbox
7. Smash her pasty

I fail to see the point of this thread.

Islamic terrorism is a recent phenomenon in Europe and is directly tied another major Western concern: mass immigration from the third world. The fact topics about those issues garner a lot of interest should come as no surprise to anyone, and it is entirely justified.

Early contender for most pointless thread of the year.

Why is it pointless when compared against the Munich knife attack thread? It's pretty much the same news story.

Or the dog attack thread?

Surely all these are started to inform and then provoke a debate? Sometimes led by the OP, other times not.
