Good lord, I've won something...

I won one of the excellent OcUK Mega Mouse Mats a year or two ago (I had the closest guess for how many of them would fit into a shipping container) :)
 
I won an ipad mini from Real Radio. Walked past this smoking awareness stall in town and they had a carbon monoxide/dioxide tester, just a breathalyser telling you ppm or what ever. Had a quick chat and threw my name down on their list after getting my breath tested.

About a month or two later get a call telling me I won which I thought was a scam at first as I never win and had a hard time remembering if I actually took part in anything haha xD
 
Best thing I ever won was 5 numbers on the lottery. It was the first ever wednesday lottery and I was watching it live. 5 five balls out where all mine. I then needed 14 to get all 6 numbers. As the last ball dropped it was the right colour (so at that point I had a 1 in 10 chance of the jackpot) but number 11.

Annoyingly as there were actually a lot of winners on that draw I only won £669!
 
Once I won $10 from scratchy ticket and once this gold rose thing :D Yea, it was nice looking, but I was hoping to win something more manly :D The good thing was that I kept it for the next Valentine day and my girlfriend freaked out when I gave it.

I've only ever won one thing, think it was 91 or 92 from some gaming magazine. A rubber case for a Nintendo Gameboy. I honestly cannot remember what the competition was about. Nor did I knew I won until it was delivered.

The other was runner up in the GUI Olympics in 2004, some software and subscription packages from it.
 
Why did you sell it? Already had a tablet or just wanted the money? Also which iPad was it?
 
bit of a winning streak recently. Won a steelseries headset from here, won tickets to camp bestival, and won £30 on a scratch card the other night :D
 
I won of can of Boost energy drink a couple of years ago for "liking" their Facebook post. Sadly when it arrived through the post some thieving post man scum had nicked it and posted the empty tube through my letterbox.
 
All as a kid..

Got a letter published in The Beano. Suggested to Ballboy that he use balloons to play footy in the house.. he got his mum to buy balloons but she bought him sausage shaped ones...

Entered a crossword competition and won some books..

Was in a Scout team that entered a local village quiz.. and we won.. or perhaps everybody else lost :-)

All as an adult..

erm..

I've got 10€ on England to win Euro 16... let's see what happens.
